Dr Caroline Canine Consultant offers calm, ethical behaviour support for dog guardians who want clearer understanding and informed guidance when their dog is finding life difficult. When a dog is anxious, reactive, or finding everyday situations hard, it can be difficult to know which advice to trust or what to do next. Caroline’s work focuses on understanding what is influencing behaviour, so guardians can make informed, realistic decisions about support. Caroline is a qualified dog behaviourist with a PhD in Animal Behaviour. She holds professional qualifications with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers as both a dog trainer (IMDT) and a dog behaviourist (IMDTB), and was named Wales’ Best Dog Behaviourist in the Prestige Awards 2025/26. Her approach is science-based and fear-free. Her work avoids aversive tools, such as slip leads, and is not based on outdated dominance or hierarchy myths. Caroline offers one-to-one training for dogs and puppies, supporting everyday life skills and common challenges at home or on walks. She also provides behaviour consultations for dogs whose behaviour feels more complex or difficult to understand, where careful assessment and clear explanation are needed. She offers specialist support for separation anxiety, helping guardians understand what is driving distress and how to support their dog safely and ethically. In addition to her one-to-one work, Caroline runs the Doodle Hub, an online learning space for doodle guardians. This includes Cockapoo Calm, a self-paced course focused on understanding your cockapoo's behaviour. Caroline works selectively to ensure the right fit for both guardian and dog. A free discovery call is available via her website.
