Positive Paws Dog Training is committed to providing a professional and personalised service of the highest standard for you and your dog. Steve is the founder of Positive Paws Dog Training Cambridge. He has completed many classroom and practical courses through The Institute of Modern Dog Trainers. He has trained over 4,000 dogs through classes and one-on-one sessions, working seven days a week for several years, conducting around 22 one-on-one sessions weekly and running six group classes each weekend. Steve has trained 1000s of puppies and developed strategies to assist with all stages of their development, making raising a happy, healthy, and confident puppy a pleasure rather than a chore, and ensuring a strong bond between dog and family. He has also worked to rehabilitate many stressed, nervous, anxious, and ‘aggressive’ dogs over the past five years and has honed his skills working with on-leash reactive dogs using behaviour adjustment training and several specific techniques. He continually updates his knowledge through reading, attending seminars, liaising with other trainers, and pursuing further qualifications. Positive Paws Dog Training features a large 10m x 5m swimming pool, fully secure 6ft solid fencing all the way around, two large digging pits, wheelchair access, and specific parking spaces for nervous/reactive dogs.

2025 Update: He also offers remote training. He tailors the lessons and exercises based on the individual needs of the dogs in the class.
