AT YOUR DOG'S PACE REVIEWS
Bjørn, my 13 months old Golden Retriever, and I will complete our second six week block of training for the APDT Good Companion dog training awards with Jen this week. There have been 5 other dogs at the sessions and everyone works at their own pace choosing their activities from the appropriate level Good Companion Awards. Each activity is assessed when the dog has a secure understanding of what is required. Jen gives individual, detailed guidance for each activity, including asking the guardian ( handler) relevant questions to assess their knowledge and understanding of their dog’s needs. There is a rosette and certificate awarded once each item in a level has been assessed positively. This training is giving Bjørn a solid foundation for his behaviour and future activities, although he has a way to go before becoming totally reliable. I can highly recommend Jen and her expertise as a trainer.
We have been attending Jen's classes with our golden retriever for the past 9 months, since she was 12 weeks old. Her knowledge, experience and the course content are first class. I would highly recommend the classes to anyone who is looking for a trainer who is fully qualified and will be able to help them from the early days through to adulthood. You really couldn't be in safer hands as Jen is also a fully qualified clinical animal behaviourist.
We booked onto puppy classes but reached out prior to these starting for some advise on puppy biting, settling and crate training. As first time puppy owners we felt like we needed some guidence before the lessons started Jennifer came to do a home 121 session and covered all areas we we're concerned about. Great engagement with Frankie and talked through everything in a way we could understand and implement in the home. Thanks so much we look forward to learning more at the puppy classes Scarlett, Michael and Frankie

FOUR PAWS DOG TRAINING REVIEWS
I have just completed the puppy foundation and socialisation course with my cocker spaniel puppy Cora. I can’t thank Kathryn enough, we both learned so much and took so much away from the classes. The notes and advice as well as the actual training were invaluable. Cora and I adored the course and cannot wait to start the next one. Highly recommended!
I took my 15 week old Labrador to the puppy and socialisation class. Kathryn was so knowledgeable and made effective training easy. Would totally recommend and we will be back for the pet gun dog class We loved small class size, friendly atmosphere, easy parking and a mix of teaching methods.
Skye my 7 month old Sprocker and myself have had a great experience on the Gundog Foundation course we have both learnt a lot from Kathryn and are looking forward to the next course.

LANCASHIRE DOG TRAINING REVIEWS
We were recommended to Steve by a friend and he agreed to work with Cash. 3 months or so later he's a changed dog (changed our lives too). Cash is off the lead on walks every day and comes back every time I call him (even when chasing birds). We decided on an e-collar as his prey drive is so strong, but I haven't needed to use it since the first couple of days; Cash is so obsessed with the game he'd rather come straight back.
A proper instructor with brilliant knowledge and a big box of tricks to solve all problems. He actually trains the dog owner as well as the dog to enforce results to maximum. All training done one to one so you get total undivided attention. Superb.
Steve taught us so much about our dogs needs and the psychology behind the training. Because of this we are now very confident with our boy and we can enjoy all the thing we wanted when we first got our puppy. Thanks to Steve we now understand our dogs needs and they’re certainly now being met. Thank you Lancashire Dog Training.
