“Honoris Gundogs & Dog Training is run by Andy Fairweather and his partner Fern, with additional help from their young, up-and-coming trainer, Cruz (their son). CORRYISLE DOG TRAINING REVIEWS

Just finished our first ( and it won’t be the last) 6 week puppy course with Elaine and Jane. My partner and I both really enjoyed the content, interaction, pace and delivery of the reward based training. Needless to say Otis ( the trainee) had a blast and really came out of his shell over the last 6 weeks. Now time for more reinforcement at home, whilst waiting till we can get on the next course (Bright Paws). The completion rosette is now proudly displayed on the fridge. Thanks again to both of you from all 3 of us.

A massive thanks to Elaine. As with others the service and insight is fantastic. We chose private sessions with Elaine so the whole family heard what we should do. Elaine was brilliant at tailoring the sessions to our (and our dog's) specific needs.

I cannot recommend Corryisle highly enough. Reward based dog training in a professional and encouraging environment. Used several different services, puppy classes, bright paws and 1-2-1. Also been attending smart paws class with both my dogs. All brilliant lots of extra advice and support outside of classes too. Elaine is very knowledgeable and approachable really is worth attending and course or using any of the services. Smart paws is such a lovely class relaxed and lots to learn. Very comfortable environment and love working towards IMDT levels both my dogs have loved these classes.

Just completed the Corryisle Bright Paws training course with my miniature poodle pup Rowan and I can honestly say it was the best dog training course I’ve ever been on. Elaine is hands down the best reinforcement based dog trainer in the area and has a lovely calm approach to dealing with any problems. We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the course and recommend it to anyone interested in improving their training skills and their bond with their dogs. - Carol H Reply

Had first session with Andy and our express train & dog reactive 11mo lab, Arlo, yesterday. Within a very short space of time, and clear guidance, had achieved a lovely heel walk, leash manners, & passing dogs without reaction by the end of the session. Andy was extremely informative, and clearly explained both the dog & handlers mindset way of thinking, passing on his wealth of training experience & advice. Andy also was quick to share tips and methods to practice with other aspects of his training. 24hr on, this mornings walk has been transformational, and no more sore arms. A happy, wagging tailed, focused dog, ignoring others and pleased to get to his favourite training field for some dummy work. I cannot recommend Andy highly enough to anyone. Truly transformational

Had a great first session with Andy today with my partner and our two dogs. They’re both reactive with other dogs, so Andy took one of his own dogs to the session. Within 10 minutes our dogs were walking past Andy’s dog and ignoring it. We were amazed and it has showed us what our dogs can do with the right training.

Met Andy for help and guidance for my nervous and anxious year old Labrador. I had tried what I thought was everything to help her and failed. Andy knowledge and guidance was amazing, helped me understand my dog and how to help her manage, see the signs and how to correct her the right way. Thanks so much for your invaluable support and guidance, I would highly recommend him.

Lewis helped with our one year old Vizsla who was become very difficult to walk on the lead and had lost all recall despite previously being fine. We were hesitant to get a trainer at first as we thought we could do it yourselves but would recommend Lewis to anyone who needs even a small bit of assistance with their dog. He was easy to contact, straightforward and I can safely say after just the two sessions it’s like we have a different dog. The drills were good and he gave us all the tools to continue the training, as well as checking in now and again to make sure we are still good. Can’t recommend enough.

We’ve had a great experience and fantastic results after our training sessions. We needed some help training Teddy on heel and to get him to be calmer/stop pulling around other dogs. Lewis provided some really straightforward, gentle and effective advice. Highly recommended.

Lewis has been absolutely fantastic with our big Rottweiler. Nothing but patient and calm with him. Only had 2 sessions with Lewis but so far so good and walked away with some amazing tips .
