TOP 3 ALDERMANS GREEN FISH BAR REVIEWS

We used this Chippy last weekend, while our way back from Wyken Slough nature reserve. I got haddock with a cone of chips. The fish was very fresh, the batter was really nice and crisp. Really loved the flavour of fish with the curry sauce. Chips were really hot and crispy as well. Just the way I like it.

Great service by friendly staff. The lunchtime deals are fantastic. Fish and chips was hot and fresh, chicken tikka kebab was delicious and incredible portion sizes. Cannot go wrong with this chippy.

Just stopped by for a cone of chips, near the end of lunchtime service. Chips were fresh and service was quick and efficient.

I’ve been using Charlie’s chippy for years and this is honestly the best chip shop in Coventry by a mile! Their food is delicious, the restaurant is clean and tidy and the staff are great too. I never go anywhere else for chippy tea.

Food was lovely, nice crispy batter and chips weren’t greasy. Staff very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, will definitely be back.

I had a simple lunch, well cooked, tasty battered sausage, and the Scallops were equally good.

Stopped for lunch and was very impressed. The owner is very passionate about the food he serves which transfers over to the taste. Chips were great, fish cake cooked fresh and the curry sauce was nice and thick, not watery. Based on the food and service I’d highly recommend. Somewhere to go back to when I’m next in the area.

I had a steak and kidney pie and regular chips, which were delicious. The owner was very polite and friendly. It's cash only, which is not very common nowadays.

First time visit on Friday lunchtime. Beautiful fresh cooked Haddock and chips with traditional curry sauce and mushy peas. Had a great chat to entertain me while I waited. I definitely recommend this Chippy.
