THE GREYHOUND INN REVIEWS
I moored up close to the Greyhound. I popped in at lunchtime to check out the menu. I stayed and enjoyed one of their bar snacks, a large cheese and onion bap. I have never made a bap with so much cheese in it. I returned later with a friend for an evening meal. Wow. He had the lasagna, and I had a chicken curry. We both struggled to eat our main courses. Both dishes were well presented and tasted great. Only after finishing our food, did we notice several couples were leaving with doggy bags. There were at least two alcohol free beers. Guinness was one pound a pint less than I pay elsewhere. There is a dedicated eating area, and the bar area. We chose to eat in the bar. The inside of the pub is well decorated as an old style pub. There are so few real pubs about, this is one of the few. I wish I lived closer.
Nice, olde country pub with a very pleasant atmosphere, and superb view of the Coventry canal. Food served hot and very tasty, slightly over average on price. That said, we found it well worth it considering the quality. Very popular, so consider booking in advance for restaurant (not required for bar, and the excellent variety on the menus are the same). Parking can be a bit limited, so plan ahead of visit. Will be going again. Thank you.
Visited this pub many times and as always absolutely amazing! Great food with great customer service from Lucas, Holly and Gio! Can’t thank the staff enough for being great and just providing an amazing time and experience as always!

THE HOLYHEAD REVIEWS
The service was very good, the waitresses were very friendly and helpful. The food was lovely and hot and tasty. I brought my 90 year old mum and my 86 year old Aunty and they loved it. We had a wonky table and the waitress was very helpful and sorted it for us. It was good to be able to use the entrance at the rear of the property as it's not too far to be able to get my mum and Aunty out to the car and inside with the minimum of problems. A nice lunch enjoyed by the 3 of us.
Had a great Saturday afternoon out here, food was super and service was amazing. The bartender Jack was quick and polite and was an amazing help. Both inside the pub and in the garden the atmosphere although loud was a nice enjoyable one.
Great food and service. There is a great outdoor area (bit noisy from the road but not as bad as you'd imagine). The grilled halloumi is delicious. Vegetarian options: Good veggie options. Parking: Pay for your parking by entering your reg at the bar on the screen.

THE PHOENIX REVIEWS
We were in the area, had 30 mins to spare and wanted to grab a hot drink and I was pleasantly surprised that they do Vegan milk alternatives in The Phoenix. Had we more time I would have definitely checked out their food menu. As it was, we just had a good ol cuppa and admired the creativity of the decor. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was really nice and I will likely go back, when in the area and have a little more time.
30p wing Wednesday is worth it, probably the best wings in Coventry that I have tried. The castle rivals them only. Have pool upstairs and it’s a fairly busy bar. Good outdoor seating during when the weather cooperates.
We booked a bottomless brunch and had Izzy for our waitress she was absolutely wonderful kept coming over making sure we was okay and had enough drinks even before we left due to the bare being busy she gave us a complimentary drink. Absolute amazing customer service for Izzy. The food as well was fantastic spot on,
