On entering the shop, it was immediately evident that the place was spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The staff were polite and friendly, and the food was delicious. The chicken gyro was packed with salad, chicken, chips, and the bread was fresh. The sauce was spicy, but not overly so—just right. The haddock was cooked fresh while I waited, and it was worth the short wait. A large, skinless fillet of haddock over a bed of delicious chips, accompanied by perfectly seasoned mushy peas. It is easy to see why The Master Fryer received the accolade of the best chippy in Flintshire.

Hands down one the only place doing gyros the way they are supposed to be done in Deeside. No other kebab comes close in this whole region. I know people go there for chips, sausage, fish and usually chippy stuff which is great no doubt.. However their chicken gyros with the real gyros bread is award-worthy. Been having for 5 years now, would be having for life.

Been coming to the Master Fryer for a number of years. Food is amazing, one of the best chippies I’ve been to for quality, price and consistency. Really friendly atmosphere and have got to know the family that owns it. Parking can be hit and miss because the street gets really busy, advise parking on one of the side streets just off the main road if it’s busy. Ordered online via their website which is easy to use. Must try if you are in the area looking for quality fish and chips.

Delicious food from here last night. Fresh, tasty fish. Fresh, proper chips. Large sausages were good, as were the peas. The spam in batter was a bit bland, but that is spam, I suppose. Despite a big queue (a good sign), service was quick and friendly. Lots of pie choice on the board too.

Most delicious fish and chips we’ve had in a long time, just passing through on our way home from our little holiday, will definitely call again when we are next in the area.

The fish are freshly cooked as you order and to your liking.if you are a big eater then the portions are more than adequate or as we do is share between 2 .be prepared to wait a little while as the shop is very popular at certain times.

Absolutely highly recommend absolutely lovely home cooked chippy food and the chicken curry is to die for very polite staff.

My word a proper fish and chip shop. Massive portions fish too big for the box and taste amazing must try there spicy curry sauce definitely will be going back.

They do the most amazing battered sausages! Honestly tastes like tortilla chips, lovely with some salt and vinegar.
