GLASFRYN REVIEWS

This is a lovely place to go for a meal, or even just a drink. With a comfortable, stylish feel indoors, and lots of space and seating outdoors, with fabulous views - it is a great place to unwind. We have never had a bad meal here, and have eaten here many times. From Sunday Roasts, to Steak Burgers and various unique dishes, the Glasfryn never disappoints. There is a good selection of wines and ales, and it is dog friendly too!!! Update: Went again last night. Again delicious food with some new dishes on the menu.....I had the Schnitzel which was fabulous. I had two different ales and they were spot on too. The others had the Feathered Beef and the Goat's Cheese Salad, which they said were amazing......especially the Goat's Cheese!!!

A lovely place to spend a sunny afternoon, lots of tables outside in the garden. The food was delicious and the drinks were great, a nice calm family atmosphere too. Staff were very friendly and helpful, we really enjoyed our time here :)

Such a good atmosphere with excellent service. All of our food was high quality. I had lamb which came with minted new potatoes and perfectly cooked vegetables. The wine was really delicious.

I had passed the Plough so many times and never popped in. On this particular Sunday I did and the food was excellent I went for the large Sunday roast and went for a bit of everything. I was stuffed and very satisfied. Definitely recommend having the carvery. Definitely coming back. Service was welcoming and friendly.

Great service, friendly family feeling ,value for money meals big sizes nice location too. Four of us 3had Sunday carvery 1 had the plough burger.

Well worth a visit, new management & new chef. Food was absolutely amazing.

Fantastic!!! After a long walk we had booked a table but we were early and had decided to bring one of our dogs along. No problem quick drink at the bar and we where shown to our table in a very dog friendly part of the pub. This is not a traditional looking pub it's very quirky and has a unique charm about it. We had starters pate and smoked haddock arancini with peas and poached egg. The pate along with bread and chutney was great and my arancini was out of this world one of the nicest starters I've had for a long time. We then had burger and roast beef sirloin both dishes where amazing. All served by very nice friendly happy attentive staff which let's alot of places down but not here. They have a very good and indie selection of beers which is nice to see instead of your usual you know estrella peroni moretti. We have several favourite pubs we visit in cheshire North Wales and wirral this one has most definitely joined that list at the top. Bravo and we'll see you again very soon.

One of the best meals I've ever eaten, in a lovely setting with delightful service and very agreeable locals. Perfect evening. But please put the sign with the name back up, otherwise it looks a bit weird and forbidding from the high street!

Love it here. I love pubs that adore dogs, and this is one pub that does. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Staff are polite, and customers are chatty and join in and speak amongst one another, particularly when they sat outside.
