GLASFRYN REVIEWS
I had an evening meal here at the end of October after the clocks had changed so it was dark very early and cold too, so there was no chance of sitting outside. The inside was welcoming with a real fire and attentive staff. The meals and starters were great, and the wait wasn't long although they were busy. There weren't many empty tables in any of the dining rooms. My wife decided to have a starter, and then follow that with two different starters instead of a main, and the staff didn't blink an eye. Overall it was a great venue and excellent food, and staff that know how to look after you without smothering you. Highly recommended.
I really enjoyed this pub. The staff were really friendly and the food was a cut above the normal pub grub. We had the crispy squid starter which was lovely. I had the Cajun chicken burger which was v nice and she had the crispy beef salad which she enjoyed The beef salad was big and packed full of crispy beef. The pub its self is really nice with a cozy atmosphere. They allow dogs in the bar area which is fab. They had a snooze while we were eating.
Higher end chain eatery. Pleasant surroundings and lovely personal customer service. Food arrived in a timely fashion and was presented really well, tasted lovely with reasonably sized portions.

THE PLOUGH INN REVIEWS
Took 42 Ladies there early Friday evening. Bar service efficient and courteous, and meals arrived quickly, still nice and hot and very tasty. All the Ladies were happy with what they ate and will call again when we’re in the area. A nice find. Thanks to all the staff, and Manager Steve for all your help and service on the evening.
Lovely food, staff were helpful and friendly, especially Katy who always goes above and beyond. Will definitely be back!
Brilliant place... Great atmosphere, fun and lively.. Very reasonable price for the food which as you can see is delicious.

THE GLYNNE ARMS REVIEWS
We’ve eaten here twice over the festive period and we weren’t disappointed. The food and service were excellent. The atmosphere cosy and traditional. We will be back again I’m sure! We returned again and enjoyed the beer battered fish and chips, salt and pepper Casheau nuts and warm soda bread and salted butter from the Hawarden estate.
Loved this place. Traditional style pub, with very interesting heritage. They have cask ales on tap, which I love! Also has a really tasty roast dinner. Would definitely visit again next time we're in Hawarden.
A great local pub with excellent staff and great atmosphere. They put a lot of effort into events and it’s always a pleasure going. They are on the pricier side of pubs but in my opinion worth it. Parking: Parking is a bit tight to get in, but you can usually find street parking.
