Been going to this place forever now food is always amazing the staff are always friendly and the atmosphere is a really nice family place would 100% recommend any to try this place out.

Superb quality food, served in a spotlessly clean and modern setting, with super friendly staff. Been visiting the Busy Bee for many years and have never left disappointed.

Really friendly staff, and truly fantastic food! The fish was fresh and flakey, and the batter was perfectly crispy. The chips were fluffy and tasty, and not greasy. Possibly the best fish and chips I've ever had.

Excellent service food is always edible very clean. Reasonably good prices. Once you but here you will always come back.

The food here is very nice. The chips were cooked perfectly and the fish was skinless, boneless and very flavoursome. I would definitely call again.

FOUNTAIN FISH BAR REVIEWS

We visited this chippie in August 2016 and we were really impressed. We were on holiday and had been out for the day and came back feeling hungry so we ordered large chips and fish... we shouldn't have, even though we had not eaten all day we could NOT eat the whole, expertly cooked real chips (not the frozen rubbish you get in restaurants) portion. Staff were chatty and friendly and explained the different curry sauces to a rather dim (hunger!!) English tourist a couple of times. We could not fault the meal and as we usually spend a week in and around Merthyr during the summer we WILL return and order a normal portion!! Thank you Excellent value for money deliciously cooked.

Wonderful service, and beautifully cooked fresh fish. Just ask if you want your fish cooked fresh. Well worth the extra wait. Every time mum comes down to visit from Swansea, she always says shall we have fish n chips. Thank you so much. Really dissapointed last time. Wanted fish cooked fresh, they insisted it had only been done a few minutes. Very dissapointed but very impressed with the Busy Bee today. Banging. Guess I shall be going there from now on.

Best fish and chips we've had so far( tried several in the area). Friendly staff. Always busy.
