3 Best Fish And Chips in Ripon, UK

We recently visited southgate Fish & Chips in Ripon and I must say that it was exceptional . The fish was cooked to perfection and the chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great fish and chips . We have recently visited the coast numerous times and havent found a chippy as good as this.

We tour the country with dog shows. This is the best tasting and best value fish and chips on our tour. Freshly cooked to order. We look forward to it every year.

We had cod chips and peas from here and everything was fresh cooked and tasty Lady serving was busy but pleasent.

We stopped here as all the sit in eateries in Masham were closed for food. So glad we did as the welcome, service and food were all superb! Standard menu for a fish and chip shop but done very well, especially the chips and the battered haddock. You could have it open or wrapped and in compostable containers with wooden forks and choice of condiment pods. Very friendly and polite staff as well. All in all proof of how good it was, they were queued out the door on an early Thursday night.

Wonderfully fresh food, that fresh in fact the fish sizzled when I put vinegar on it Chips were delicious too. Very much recommend.

Very busy, went during the road run of the steam rally, long wait but staff were working hard to get the que down. Food was lovely fish was crisp and tasty. Over all very good.
