Daughters Gayle and Anna have always been involved, and now they bake over 100 different flavours of cakes, tray bakes, and pastries. Carol created a range of "free from" products for the tearooms, which has expanded their offerings. They are passionate about catering to all dietary needs and take allergen advice seriously. The cake shop proudly shares its allergen ingredients list with your venue the week of your wedding. Gayle has taken professional training across the country, learning new skills. She loves experimenting with the latest trends and techniques, always aiming to improve and stay current. The cake shop creates wedding and celebration cakes for customers across North Yorkshire. Where the Ribbon Ends made our wedding cake, entirely gluten free for my coeliac husband - and it was the best tasting gluten free cake I have ever tried. Gayle and Anna were very helpful when discussing what sort of cake we would like during the planning meeting, suggesting how we could add real flowers to make it fit with our wedding colours. They were quick to reply to any queries by email and I would highly recommend them for your wedding cake, especially if you are looking for a gluten free cake which tastes like “normal” cake!

Where the Ribbon Ends created the most beautiful hand painted cake for our wedding! They were so receptive to our ideas and made them a reality, and we were blown away with the final cake. It looked better than we could have ever imagined. The cake was accompanied by macarons and all tasted amazing - we got so many compliments! We loved their tasting service, and really enjoyed being able to try all the different flavours before the day. They also created hand painted biscuit favours which we used as place cards on our tables, which looked beautiful and tasted amazing. We highly recommend them - thank you!

Lindsay made a beautiful cake for my daughter’s wedding which not only looked amazing but tasted absolutely delicious. There were so many flavours to choose from. We loved trying them all in the taster box that we got. I would definitely recommended Fairy Cakes & Co!

Lindsay did the cake for our wedding and we couldn't have been happier. From making the initial reservation everything was easy and well organised. It was great to have the tasters and a meeting to discuss what we wanted. Lindsay was also great at advising on what would and wouldn't work. We had a two tier cake with fruit cake and Victoria Sponge which were both excellent and our guests were very happy. We were also able to have our cake designed around our invitations. Would highly recommend.

We used fairy cakes and co for our wedding cake last Saturday and wow! It was fantastic. Lindsay was absolutely lovely and very professional. She helped us design the perfect wedding cake it was better than we imagined and tasted fantastic! She even did us an extra gluten free cake at shorter notice. We are so very grateful for her time and effort put into making our cake so beautiful on the day. A very reliable and professional lady to use and will definitely use in the future!
