Smiling welcoming clean very good quality potatoes very fresh tasting taste good quality oil used very presentable layout counter and decor, the staff is very helpful, very clean and tidy uniform, signs are easy too ready and vegetarian options available the price is good for the quality of what you are getting , and you dont have to pay extra too eat in , also very popular and good social from the regulars, by far the best chippy in stevenage .

Best Chip Shop in the South East. Had a large chips (a large being a large here) and Rock / Huss. The fish batter was incredible. Chips were brilliant and didn’t need anything added to them outside of the vinegar and salt provided. Also added some Cod and Roe to the order. Absolutely fantastic. Wrapped well and survived the car journey home. 10/10 establishment. Can’t wait for my next trip over.

I first went about 8 years ago and have been an extremely satisfied customer ever since. I no longer live in Stevenage but travel back to visit my favourite chippy. Always happy to support a small business too so if you're in the area say hello to Matty and the team in person.

I've always loved this fish and chip shop! I like my chips crunchy, and it's never too much for the owner JJ to stick them back in the frier until they are just how I like them. And don't get me started on the fish and batter, it's all cooked with a passion to please. As well as the food, the owner is easy on the eye, I'd go in every day if i could afford it, just to see his little cute little smile.

I placed a large order for a party we had at work last Tuesday for 43 people. From start to finish, my experience was faultless. All my face-to-face and telephone interactions were friendly, helpful and professional. When I came to collect my order, the food was perfectly packaged and steaming hot. The individual boxes and labelling were a godsend. I received loads of positive feedback from my colleagues who loved their fish and chips. A big thank you to Will and his team. Your hard work and attention to detail really pay off. Looking forward to coming back again.

This is the best chippy in the area by far. I live abroad but whenever I’m home visiting, rock and chips from here is always on my list of “things to eat”. The fish is always delicious and the chips are perfect. I have tried others (very) occasionally but am always disappointed.

Been in a few chippy's in the stevenage area and recently tried rowes for the 1st rime and gotta say the chops are amazing and the curry sauce with the bits is one of the nicest chippy curry's I've had, now I'm a regular 10/10 for me.
