Very friendly staff, quick service. Freshly cooked food which was incredibly tasty and well packaged. A short walk from the benches overlooking the bay which was a lovely place to enjoy this delicious food.

We sat in and had fish n chips, the staff were lovely and the fish was beautiful, batter nice and crisp not to heavy, lovely meal, would recommend it to anyone.

This is a beautiful fish and chip shop and I really can't complain about the food, which was very nice and full of flavour... This is definitely one of my favourite fish and chip shops out of the many I've been to! I will definitely come again.

Well, I've been to a hell of a lot of fish and chips shops and restaurants in my 58 years. Not many better than this one. The food was perfect. Starters of Squid and King Prawns were absolutely fantastic. The Fish and Chips, stunningly good. Hot, beautifully cooked, the fish batter was so good, and the chips lovely and fluffy and crisp. Even the bread and butter was excellent! Service was fantastic, such a lovely, engaging and friendly lady. Thank you Saltwater. Keep doing what you do. A bonus 6th star from me.

Really enjoyed our recent visit here for lunch. Food delicious and fresh. Very light and satisfying not like the stodgy feeling you can get after a fish and chip meal. Lovely to see my son eating ‘proper’ fish. Liked the catch of the day menu and fact it described all the different fish. Great service. We all loved the decor inside too.

Best fish and chips, I think iv ever had, I generally leave most not this time next time I’ll order large. -Victoria B

Thank you Hanbury’s. I ordered a regular cod & regular chips as a takeaway and arrived perfectly delivered by the perfect driver. I added a lemon , apple cider vinegar & salt but needed nothing to enhance its flavour. I also ordered mushy peas and curry sauce. Will hopefully order again.

These guys were amazing! We were staying up quite steep roads in Foxes Walk, and they made the journey to us and even while there were some road closures. Absolute legends, and the food was top notch too!!! Thank you guys you’re the best.

Best chip shop in torbay. From the moment you enter the takeaway you can see it is upmarket with info about quality ingredients and sustainability also info about where your fish was caught. The passion for quality is evident in the food they serve. The sausages are proper sausages not the run of the mill chip shop sausages the fish is beautifully cooked and not greasy. And the chips are not stuck together in a sweaty heap. A little on the pricey side but you get what you pay for.
