Written from my heart 5 stars...?. My father passed away recently & I chose Liveseys funeral directors in Chorley. I worried about all the arrangements, the funeral, the organisation of the reception, the ashes, the Cortege etc. Speaking to Tony Livesey he was compassionate, patient & reassuring. Through him he guided me through the protocol, timings, flowers, ashes, even the music, the ministers visit to our house with a prayer & producing/framing Dads photo for the hearse & the Crematorium. He took myself & my wife to see the simply stunning Rolls Royce hearse & Rolls Royce procession cars that would be ours for the duration. He spent time talking to us & I have to say a massive weight had been lifted. On the day the Cortege arrived exactly when he said it would even reversing the three huge cars into a very narrow winding private driveway so guests didn't have to walk 100yds to the road. Tony then walked in front of the Cortege from near Gillibrand hall all the way down the hill to Burgh Wood way. The whole day was absolutley faultless & carried out with military style precision timing. I don't want to sound corny but myself & my family owe a huge thanks to Tony & his staff for their services. This was a sad day for us but a proud day for my Dad & more importantly myself his son....absolutely incredible!. Its hard to get excited about a funeral but I'll tell you now...If you're looking for an efficient/compassionate/skilled funeral director who really cares...you're at the right place. 10 stars in my book. Thankyou.

Please extend our thanks to all at Livesey's for your excellence service. My uncle's funeral was well managed and everyone exhibited the highest professional standards at all times. Please extend my personal thanks to Mr Livesey for his care and attention during this difficult time.

Thank you to Stephanie Gillott-Bibby, at Chorley Co-Op funeral care for the most perfect send off we could have asked for mum We do not live in Chorley, but Steph arranged for my mum to be looked after at the local branch in Walkden, with Bev who was also absolutely amazing. Mum was taken to Overdale Crematorium in Bolton on the Truimph in style! The service was fantastic due to Minister Mike (Steph has his number if anyone needs it) and the over all care provided by the Co-Op (because of Steph excellent customer service). When someone close to you dies - it is hard enough to deal with the loss, never mind trying to plan a funeral on top of it- but Steph took ALL the stress and management over and assisted me every step of the way!! If you need a funeral director with care, consideration and passion and pride in her job then I recommend contacting Steph.

The staff have been absolutely amazing, particularly Steff. The thoughtful little touches they did without asking. Nothing was too much trouble for them. When we needed care and kindness they gave it in abundance. Thank you x
