They also offer video conferencing facilities that allow a small service to be broadcast to a family who is unable to be present at the service. As a family we received a compassionate, caring & highly professional service when Mum died. We felt informed, supported & listened to, resulting in a positive experience during such a challenging emotional time. Mum's funeral was perfect thanks to the time & gentle effort dedicated to it's planning with the team their ongoing support. It reflected Mum's life positively & personally, allowing us to focus on the good memories & we are so grateful we were signposted to such a wonderful funeral celebrant. We could not have wished for a better service & we are extremely grateful. We would & will highly recommend.

My sister's funeral was held this week. From start to finish the service has been exemplary. Equally there are no words to express the teams kindness and compassion towards my sister, me, and my family. Would recommend without hesitation.

I was a little sceptical using this firm, as I had used a major chain before and been ripped off twice by them and felt it may happen again. However, I was very pleasantly surprised with everything that happened from start to finish. The staff are knowledgeable, not pushy and very friendly. I found they didn't want to rip me off and were open and honest about pricing unlike the previous funeral directors with the prices hidden behind the door! What you get is a good old fashioned family service were you are important and more importantly your loved one gets what they wished without compromise. I would not hesitate to recommend Chris and Jane for the care of your loved ones. They are truly lovely caring honest people and you will be in very good hands.

JW Brocklehurst provided the best possible funeral for our loved one and provided exceptional emotional support for our family. Every aspect of the funeral was impeccably organised, all of our wishes were fulfilled and the administrative work was explained and handled by them. All members of staff were welcoming, supportive, patient and hard-working. We are all very grateful for the service they provided and can't thank them enough.

My husband’s family have used Brocklehursts for many years Yesterday, again they did the family very proud. The understanding and kindness shown by the lady who led the coffin was incredible Thank you Ruth and Paul Turner.
