William Whitney carried out my step dad’s funeral in 2020. When registering his death the administrator praised this funeral service, so it was reassuring. We asked for it to be personalised and for it to be delivered by Annie Love. It was a wonderful service, and even attendees asked for William Whitney’s details to plan their own funerals (amazingly) It’s coming up to my step dads funeral anniversary- so Thank you William Whitney it’s a service that I’ve most definitely not forgotten.

From the very first contact I found Alex and his team to be very friendly and helpful (professional but with a genuinely caring approach) Alex made such an emotional and difficult situation as trouble free as possible. He listened attentively to our requirements and delivered exactly what we wanted. We were kept informed and on the day we could not have wished for anything more. The whole service was conducted professionally and with dignity. The celebrant who was recommended by Alex was fantastic she was compassionate and friendly and delivered a tribute that was heartfelt full of warmth and she spoke of my father as if she herself knew him. Carolyn spent time listening to us and wrote a wonderful tribute and sent several emails ensuring we were 100% happy with her words and the order of ceremony. I and my family would recommend William Whitmey and Carolyn Stace for delivering a perfect funeral service from the initial phone call to the gracious farewell and follow up condolence email. The whole team on the day were impeccably turned out and delivered their duties with flawless precision Thank you.

R High & Son based in Sittingbourne, have been my family’s chosen funeral service for as long as I can remember. I contacted them immediately following my elderly mother’s death in February and they were very helpful and supportive. Myself with members of my family, initially met with Jo as soon as we had the death certificate, and although this being an especially difficult time for us, I was immediately impressed with her professionalism as she was able to advise us on a choice of arrangements available to us that could accommodate both my mother’s wishes and the family’s expectations. The funeral was planned to take place at the Garden of England Crematorium in Bobbing, and Matthew had been assigned to head up the proceedings and called me on two occasions beforehand to confirm whether there was anything else that I needed and to explain what we can expect on the day. One of these calls was on the afternoon before the day of the funeral as final confirmation of the arrangements which provided assurance and was very much welcomed at the time. The funeral itself exceeded our expectations, although helped by the good weather, it was no less because of Matthew and his team on the day that contributed to its success. I would highly recommend R High & Son for their expertise, compassion, and customer service that they provide at a particularly difficult time.

My family and I received excellent service from High and Son, During both the arranging and on the day of my late fathers funeral. I dealt mostly with Samantha and Karl who were really helpful and sympathetic. The other members of staff were also, equally good. I cannot thank Carl and his team for organising, what was under the circumstances, a perfect funeral. From the booking process to the actual day, the communication was excellent.
