They are so kind, and caring with everything they do. I went to do my sons headstone. I would recommend them to everyone during your time of grief. The care and compassion shown to my family yesterday was exceptional. My mother was treated with the dignity she deserved. When mum passed away we were so fortunate to be given the recommendation by the ambulance crew of William Mitchell Funeral Directors to collect her body. Alf and Donna immediately put us at our ease and explained everything very clearly. During our discussions of the funeral arrangements, with Donna, Alf and Lily were in the other office contacting suitable venues for the wake. It was all very impressive. The funeral went extremely smoothly. The civil celebrant that Donna had recommended, Tony West, was very professional, empathetic and caring. We have no hesitation in highly recommending Donna and the team. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We thought their prices were very reasonable too.
Luckily we'd never had to think about planning a funeral until we lost our baby boy at the end of May. We were lost and didn't know where to start, but after speaking to Alf on the phone, and then going in to see Donna we knew we wouldn't have wanted anybody else looking after him. Every step of the way Donna, Alf and Lily were professional, respectful, attentive and most of all caring towards us and made sure everything was right from start to finish. We can't thank them enough for the support, guidance and for going the extra mile to care for our son during what has been a really difficult time for our family. We really didn't know where to start with organising a funeral when my mum passed away, by chance we went to speak to William Mitchell Funerals as they are local to us, Alf originally then Donna. They immediately put us at our ease and explained everything very clearly. The situation was made more difficult as we had an important family holiday planned, which Donna said we should continue with as there is always a wait for the crematorium, she explained every step of the process very clearly and was happy to work with us even though there was a delay in obtaining the death certificate. The day went extremely smoothly, Donna had arranged a civil celebrant, Tony West who was very professional, empathetic and caring. We can highly recommend Donna and the team, they are very respectful, we thought their prices were very reasonable, yet they don't try to upsell you anything and they treat you as a person not just a number.
