Joined this gym online a few days ago and sent them an email regarding organising an induction as I'm new to to the whole gym era. I was a member of another gym years ago and unfortunately had a bad time due to asking for help from trainers so I didn't injure my back/spine as iv got a spinal condition and i ended up being laughed at and mocked by the trainer. So it's took me a long time to join another gym. After emailing this gym and speaking to the manager Gareth he organised a gym induction for me with PT Aaliyah. She was amazing and incredibly nice. She answered all my questions, showed me around the whole gym, showed me how to use a few machines & equipment and let me have a go myself and helped me with my technique. I explained I was also autistic and very anxious and she put me at ease straight away. She was so nice and welcoming. I just wanted to give her a shout out and a thankyou. As I'm using an online PT she explained once my plans had been given to me if i needed any more help with machines or anything at all that all I had to do was ask and they would be happy enough to help me out. I now don't feel as anxious to attend a gym and look forward to my experience at JD Gyms. The gym it's self looked really good. Plenty of machines and equipment to use. All looked very clean and tidy. Found the atmosphere really good to and wasn't too overwhelming or busy if you go between mid morning - mid afternoon.

One the original JD gyms to open. As such it was set up to succeed. Ladies only section- Small but equipped. Free-weight section so large it takes up its own story floor. Recent investment with a an elekio rig adds to its appeal and functionality. Many a great trainer here. Nick Broomhead and Tim. General Manager Laura firm and fair running a tight ship up holding gym etiquette.

The gym is fabulous,staff always ready to help machines are working well.best gym in Rochdale community.

Paul Whydall classes are amazing, he makes everyone feel so comfortable and confident! My first ever pump & spin class was both with Paul, he was helpful and explained everything I needed to do, I left the class with a buzz feeling motivated for the next class! The gym overall is very clean & well kept. Best pure gym I have been to in a long time! More pump classes with Paul please!.

Came in early hours and Tony was working and the gym’s cleanliness was spot on and detailed which is reassuring as someone who’s a germaphobe.

A great variety of classes, and machines all PT’s and Manager Liam are all very helpful approachable and will to help .

EVOLUTION GYM ROCHDALE REVIEWS

Came here as I was nearby without a car for a couple of hours - was not disappointed at all. Equipment selection is huge and varied, well looked after too. Staff were friendly and helpful. Moved around lots of different areas and was really impressed with the gym. Showers were clean too. Sadly the gym is too far for me to travel on a regular basis, but if I were closer I would happily join. They do day passes, so if you're unsure it's definitely worth the small bit of money to try them out.

A fabulous, friendly, inspiring and motivational gym. I started here due to my PT moving. I was initially nervous, coming from a highly commercial gym but I really shouldn't have worried. Wish I started training here sooner. Great equipment, great staff, great gym!.

This gym has everything you need. Anyone should feel right at home. Very friendly.
