Had a haircut with Mel today. She was super friendly and really personable and has done a great job cutting my hair. I was really in need of some ideas on what to do and she has smashed it! So happy with my new hair style and will definitely be coming back when needed. All topped off with a lovely lady greeting me by name upon arrival who was on reception, offering tea and coffee and various options all with a lovely biscuit, little touches that made it a lovely experience. Thanks again.

Anyone with curly hair will understand the challenge of getting a good hairdresser who can work with curly hair. Most of us have experienced the Shirley Temple haircut. Ellie from Spirit Hair CAN cut and colour curly hair and has worked with me to take my hair lighter to disguise those pesky greys! She’s a delight, great at what she does and I don’t intend to go anywhere else to get my hair done! The whole team at Spirit Hair are lovely, always welcoming and extremely professional. A real find of a salon!

Having returned for the first time since lockdown, I was so very impressed with how incredibly safe Lauren and the team have made the salon. From sealed up gowns and towels to huge and very sturdy dividers between sections , spaced out consultations, compulsory temperature checks and all the staff in visors I felt safe and looked after. With all this in mind they also managed to keep it from feeling clinical. It remained friendly and relaxing. Thanks to the team. Best salon around.

Great salon, fab value and fantastic staff. I’ve been going to Spirit for the last 4 years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Mikaela goes out of her way to make the salon friendly and welcoming. My daughter had her first hair cut here and Alex the gentleman that cut her hair was amazing made her feel so comfortable saying do you want a princess hair cut. Also had my hair cut absolutely love it after a very stressful day of being let down by the lady that was meant to do our hair the staff made us very happy and made a bad day good. I went to Elwoods for the first time today and got my hair cut by Chloe. She was so friendly and cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. Perfect cut and great value! I will definitely come back here in the future.

This is a great salon. I’d had some bad experiences at other local salons and Elwood was recommended to me. Everyone is friendly, professional and look after you.
