Although we're only about an hour from here, we'd never actually visited until last weekend. What a treat! The manor house is beautifully furnished on two of the three floors and there are lots of reminders of Disraeli his wife his political foes and his literary accomplishments. Guides are on offer to help in each room, there are also regular talks by experts. The gardens are beautiful and on the sunny day we were there lots of families were picnicking in the grounds. Definitely worth a visit.

Visited this wonderful place today. House and grounds belong to National Trust but have a family in residence. Car park short distance from house but buggy available for those less able to walk. Welcoming staff very friendly and provide you with map etc. House was on free-flow being a Sunday so we were able to stroll through the eight rooms open at our leisure with a guide on hand should you have any questions. Music on Sunday's is a bonus. Grounds are tranquil and have stunning views.

It is one of the UK's leading regional theatres - It is also home to the Wycombe Swan Youth Theatre a permanent Youth Theatre Company open to 10 to 19 year-olds

Call for Hours

I love visiting the Swan. It is a comparatively new theatre built so that there is a good view of the stage from every seat in the house. It shows a good variety of shows to suit all tastes. It always appears clean and well maintained. The restaurant has improved over the years and is now well worth a visit. Booking the table is required and I would recommend booking early to ensure that there is time to finish your meal before the show starts I have visited as one of a couple.
