I’ve had a lovely stay at the Stradey, I chose to have the afternoon wind down package with the spa, it was amazing! And ate at the Copperplate diner, there was plenty of food on our plates for the value we paid. All staff were incredible, including the cleaning staff who held the door open for us when we checked out with our bags.

Got married here 15 years ago and recently went back for a formal dinner event. The hotel continues to be well run and maintained to a high standard and the service was first class. The ball room was full and food was served promptly, was delicious and well presented.

Ideal location for exploring. Very friendly helpful staff. Comfy bed, plenty of towels. Replaced every day. Large wet room.

The Ivy Bush Hotel were very lucky to have great staff. Those that were working were very conscientious considering the shortage of staff. We were a party of five and enjoyed lunch. Our friend stayed overnight in a suite of rooms and we enjoyed a glass of prosecco before saying our farewells. I think hospitality have had a very hard time during the recession and staff shortages must make life difficult for the hard working staff. They have my sympathy.

We had my fathers wake in the hotel .We could not have asked for better service.Staff we’re very helpful.The duty manager Joanna could not have done any more to make sure everything was as we had requested. The food was excellent and plenty of it. The function room that we were in was very appropriate.

We had our wedding at the Ivy Bush. Everything was excellent. All the staff were very polite and helpful . Jack the manager is exceptional. Our wedding was Everything we wanted and more.

Absolutely perfect room for my business trips. Loads of thoughtful little touches. Very clean. Plugs by the bed for phone and laptop chargers. Little desk to work from. Lovely bathroom. Little smoking area out the back by the car park. Locating the car park was a bit stressful so I parked up the road in a different car park and walked down. Brilliant stay and this will definitely be my hotel of choice when working in Carmarthen.

Stayed for a couple of days in this hotel. The staff are very professional and helpful. The rooms are clean and have everything you need, including fridge, fan, strong hot shower,iron& board,television, hair dryer, coffee making facilities, plenty of space and, most importantly, a very comfortable bed.The breakfast is good and the bar well priced. Would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my husband. Beautifully furnished room, spacious bathroom and comfortable bed. Located in the middle of the town, opposite a coop and wetherspoons, it's in a perfect location. Breakfast service was wonderful and the staff were a pleasure to be greeted with every morning. I would stay here again.
