THE VIEW HOTEL EASTBOURNE REVIEWS
The hotel hosted my cousin's wedding and it was a truly beautiful day, lovely venue with a view of the beach and pier. My room was a standard double and it was very spacious, very comfy bed and big TV! I loved the waterfall shower. The food for both the wedding meal and breakfast buffet was excellent. Shout out to Gwen the waitress who danced with us during the reception and got involved- great member of staff!
We had a really enjoyable 3 night stay last week. It is a very clean and comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful staff and would have no hesitation in staying there again. We did mislay an item of sentimental value which we realised on our return home. Guest Services Manager, Libby, kindly organised its return to us. Many thanks !
The hotel is excellent, location, very luxurious room which has fab view of beach and the downs from balcony. Parking available in front of hotel too. Nothing to fault and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

THE GRAND HOTEL REVIEWS
Went for an afternoon tea for 2 with my mother-in-law and had an amazing time we were relaxed. Wonderful food, wonderful service, wonderful music and we didn't want to leave and he was opposite the sea. And thank you to all the stuff that looked after us. I would look forward to going back again. This is a 100% great place for an afternoon tea with someone special.
The Afternoon Tea I had with my Daughter was, lovely and very filling, this is the second time I had it,,it was,my Birthday treat from my Son and his girlfriend,,my Birthday was on September 1st but we could not have it that day, so we had it today 14th November instead so I do recommend it.
I was treated to afternoon tea at the Grand. I have been there before and the service was of the same high standard. The food was delicious. A variety of sandwiches on different types of fresh bread, delicate little cakes and fresh scones with jam and clotted tea. A wonderful afternoon.

THE CAVENDISH HOTEL REVIEWS
Lovely grand old hotel set on the Eastbourne sea front! Wonderful and professional staff. Comfortable bed in a huge double room partly overlooking the sea. Nice hot shower and room temperature. Huge shout out to the wonderful Adam and Appo. They were the absolute best!! They went all out to make sure my mother had a brilliant birthday celebration and we had everything we needed. Laura and Paolo were fantastic too in the Dining Room. Buffet food was tasty and offered good choices. Breakfast and machine coffee were excellent too!
Based on our experience - having had our windowless double freely upgraded to a sea view balcony - and our dire expectations given other's reviews - we were very pleasantly surprised by the hotel's cleanliness, the professionalism of its staff, and the quietness of the room. Sure, it's an old hotel and aspects are in need of maintenance. But they're clearly upgrading as they can afford to with a sparkling lobby, working lift, new carpets, and so on.
It’s a pretty basic hotel and affordable. The room is clean. The check-in is pretty straightforward the staff are just okay. The location is pretty central and there are so many shops nearby.
