Been living here in UK for past few years and have tried curry houses all around. I had a chance to visit Blackpool for a vacation. After finding this amazing dining spot Akash Tandoori, I had to visit them three times in a week. Their tarka daal is my favourite dish so far and the lamb bhuna is absolutely mouthwatering. The service and hospitality was seamless as well. I would really recommend to try this place if ever visiting Blackpool. Will definitely revisit them again :))

Tried the restaurant because of the their high-rating and it was mesmerising. We ordered the Lamb Tikka Curry with Special Fried Rice and Prawn Biryani. Both dishes are very delicious but I believe curries are their main specials. The lamb was super tender and melted in your mouth. The owner and staffs are friendly as well. Totally worth the visit and recommended.

While in Blackpool we had 2 come back here again especially after the 1st time we came as the owner & staff make u feel so welcome & very friendly, & amazing food. We ordered a mix grill as 1 of our meal this time & all the meats just melts in your mouth. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to family & friends as they wont be disappointed.

Had gone to visit Blackpool with my family and after a nice day out had found this place to dine at. After visiting, I hoped I had found this place much earlier. From the food, to the service and friendly manner of the staff. Everything was perfect. The curries were extremely delicious, the staff were friendly and checked up on us to make sure everything was ok and if we needed anything else. If you do come down to Blackpool, then this is 100% a place to come down and eat at. Will be coming here myself again very soon.

The food was exceptional. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The ingredients tasted high-quality, and the chef’s skill was evident in how well everything was cooked and seasoned. The service was outstanding. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made great recommendations and ensured that everything was just right throughout the meal.

During a recent trip to Blackpool, we discovered this fantastic restaurant and were thoroughly impressed. The curries were absolutely delicious, and the staff provided excellent service, making sure we had everything we needed. If you’re visiting Blackpool, whether for the beach or the theme park, this place is definitely worth a stop. We’ll be returning on our next visit for sure!

THE TAJ MAHAL REVIEWS

I came here yesterday at night and I loved the experience. The walls were red and there were LED red lights on the ceiling all around the edge and there were candle-shaped lights on 4 corners of the ceiling and there were 4-5 of them in the middle which looked really nice and matched everything . On the wall there was a big image of The Taj Mahal, which reminds you of it and seems as if it’s next to you in the background.The seating of the the place was perfect . Everyone who was there was having a good time and enjoyed the food.I really liked the food, it was delicious, the naan bread had the real taste of garlic, kebabs, chicken tikka and the lamb chops were very tasty and delicious, had lots of flavours. The service was fantastic as soon as I stepped in the restaurant I was greeted and the waiter took me to the table and took the order, which came in less than 20 mins. The staff was very nice and polite. When they came with the food to put on the table they set the table so it looks nice.The food was steaming, freshly made.I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.The looks of the place 10/10, the presentation of the food 10/10, the taste of the food 10/10, the experience was fantastic would definitely come again.Some photos of the experience:

I visited the restaurant during my trip from London to Blackpool. I asked around for recommendations for authentic Indian food. Nearly everyone recommended Taj Mahal and I must they, they were not wrong! This place food was amazing, it hit the spot. The lovely owners catered for my family of ten. The lamb chops to the chicken tikka, the naan was top notch. If you are looking for real authentic Indian food, this is the place to go.

Good customer service, Excellent Food, we ordered Lamb Karahi, Chicken Tikka Briyani , King Prawn purée, everything was freshly prepared and tasted very tasty, would highly recommend this restaurant for the quality of its food and customer service. Plus also Shayan was very helpful.
