Been eating here more frequently and the options and high standards that are continually offered are nothing less than outstanding. Never had a bite to eat here that has disappointed and the welcoming atmosphere with plenty of privacy is an excellent choice of venue for any time of day or night. I would like to say the breakfast was my choice of munch but the lunch menu and evening menu’s are equally good if not better so a big thumbs up from me. Top notch.

I’m a big curry lover, and I drive from Hamilton to here to get a curry! It’s that good! That Thali was wonderful, and the Chasni sauce is fabulous. And the chef made me Lassi, even though it isn’t on the menu! My partner got the sea bass, said it was the best ever, and generous portions, can’t recommend this friendly eatery enough. Did I mention that the prices are very reasonable? You won’t be disappointed!

The food is good. The quantity is concerning. I worry that if you order the wrong combo of dishes it could be an actual extinction event for certain species. Great value. Prepare for large portions.

SHIMLA COTTAGE COATBRIDGE REVIEWS

From the moment we entered, we were made to feel welcome. We were given enough time to peruse the menu, which is extensive. With so many great options, it took some time to decide what to have. Even when we asked for some slight variations to our chosen dish, this was not a problem. Everyone's starters arrived at the same time. It was the same for the main meals, and everything was exactly as ordered. The quality and taste of our meals were top class, and the portions were generous. After our main courses we ordered ice cream. Again, the choices were extensive, and you could order as many scoops as you wanted. All the time, the staff were attentive whilst being discreet. It was a wonderfully relaxed and enjoyable evening, and I will certainly go again. Excellent.

Perfect meal once again.Turned up just as they were opening,we were told to come in and given a complimentary starter(probs to give kitchen time to get ready as we were very early) waiter very nice and cheery as usual.Meal was amazing,tasty and fresh.Would definitely recommend to all.Im sure I even saw the manager smiling ;).Be back soon!!

Nothing specifically bad to say at all my experience was amazing the staff were nice and had a bit of personality and very cheerful food took about 30mins to come although it was quite busy the day I went so I'd say amazing job and yummy food.

Would highly recommend this restaurant! if you are in the area, give this place a try! You wont be disappointed! we Will definitely be returning next time we are in the area!
