“Sewerby Hall and Gardens is uniquely positioned with spectacular views over Bridlington, and the hall is set on 50 acres of early 19th-century parkland. Sewerby Hall is a Grade I listed Georgian country house with impressive historical significance. John Graeme built the Georgian core of the house between 1714 and 1720. Each garden offers a variety of sights, smells, and sounds throughout all four seasons, including the Marie Curie Daffodil Trail in spring. Sewerby Hall and Gardens underwent a complete restoration between 2013 and 2014, returning it to its former glory as an Edwardian country house. The rooms are furnished with impressive pieces from the Victoria and Albert Museum and other important collections. Their Clock Tower Café serves a wide range of hot and cold food, including freshly ground coffee, daily specials, homemade scones, cakes, as well as sandwiches and soup.”
