What a day out we had, sooooo much to do, see and enjoy. We started off with the Zoo, then had lunch, lots to choose, especially for little ones. They did sausage beans and chips! Well what do kids like when they are out with Grandpa! We had jackets. Then went around the Hall, the toys upstairs kept them busy for ages. If you have a buggy, they lock it up for you. Then went for a walk around the gardens and the Monkey Puzzle trees. Beautiful. Then came back for an ice cream. Recommend the tubs.

We was looking for something different to do and with my son loving animals found this on Internet of local things to do. Arrived at lunch time and was £20 admission for a family of four which is pleasantly cheap for a day out, we walked straight in to a bird display by the falconer this was nice and he talked and explained about everything from the birds to there surrounding. We then had a walk round it had been raining so was quite muddy but this is a wild life farm so to be expected.

We walked past the museum on several occasions during our 1 week stay in Hornsea, paying it little heed, in part due to it's seemingly diminutive nature, however on popping a head in through the front door it began to dawn on my wife and I that the building was not merely the one storey cottage abutting the road, but in fact the building adjoining it, and several behind unseen from the road. Our two young children (7 & 8) had a great time being able to dress up using the old clothes box.
