Wokingham Town Hall is a historic Grade II listed building. The original building on the site was a medieval guildhall completed in 1612. The new building, designed by William Ford Poulton and William Henry Woodman in the Gothic style, was officially opened by Lord Braybrooke in 1860. Wokingham Town Hall offers a variety of rooms, with lift access to the first floor. The Town Hall features 25 seated round tables in the REME Room, seating for 120 or standing capacity for 140 in the Main Hall, and 30 seated round tables in the Diamond Jubilee Room. There is also a kitchen with 100 place settings. Wokingham Town Hall comprises twenty-five councillors who represent the town's eight wards. Free WiFi is available to Main Hall, Annexe, and Council Chamber users.

2025 Update: The building is the meeting place for the Wokingham Town Council and also functions as a venue for events, with offices and commercial letting space. Wokingham Town Hall is equipped with a lift and accessible toilets.
