“The Look Out Discovery Centre offers hands-on science exhibits and presentations to educate children about how the world works. The Centre is an immersive science and nature exhibition. The centre features over 90 entertaining, interactive science activities. Visitors can also explore more than 1,000 hectares of Crown Estate woodland, including nature walks, cycle paths, and a large adventure play area.

2025 Update: The Look Out Discovery Centre features a fantastic outdoor play area, including an accessible section for all abilities. With a picnic area and a welcoming cafe, it’s the perfect place to spend the whole day. The pay-and-display car park is open daily from 7:00 am to 8:30 pm.”

WOKINGHAM THEATRE REVIEWS

Everything was brilliant. A great little theatre with approximately 11 rows and around 14 seats on each row. Great theatre. Brilliant staff members. All the volunteers were very welcoming and polite. Toilets and facilities were exceptionally clean. We saw Jeeves and Woster:perfect Nonesense, and the 3 actors did an amazing job, very well done to the cast. It was so funny and creative. Very well done to Murray playing both the niece and uncle at the same time. That is what you call exceptional acting. Thank you very much.

We saw Curtain Up!, what an amazing play!! We were very surprised with the theatre and the play. The personnel was super friendly, the theatre is recently renovated, all the lights and effects were just really amazing. The play was very good, I would put it in the first 3 I have seen so far in this country and I have seen more than a dozen just in the big London theatres so it’s a must see! We were just super pleasantly surprised with everything, thank you all for a lovely night, we will come back! Keep rocking it! PS they have very cheap amazing ice cream and drinks.

We've been going to Wokingham Theatre for several years now and have never been disappointed in any of the performances. All the staff are volunteers and do a fantastic job both front of house and behind the scenes. The bar is well stocked and very reasonably priced. Plenty of free carparking. Highly recommend a visit to this local gem.

THE LOOK OUT DISCOVERY CENTRE REVIEWS

Lovely children centre they have built. Has activities for all ages and they have kept it bright and colourful for all ages. They have different sections with all educational play. They also have a very large outdoor play area which is free to use. Parking is expensive though. Plenty of parking. The discovery centre has a small soft play int here aswell. My little one loved and will be taking her back shortly. We spent a few hours there but did not get to see everything so its probably a half day to full day activity.

Pay for parking then you have access to a fantastic woodland adventure. There's a huge outdoor play area and some great places to walk or mountain bike. You have to pay extra to access the lookout centre itself but I would say that is a bonus extra. Ice cream and ice coffee were out order of choice at the cafe.

Amazing place for a 6 year old. Lovely playground outside and a cafe with food options. There are lots of different interactive attractions inside the centre with the possibility of a show. Den building was a highlight for all.

Great place for a family walk/activities. The playground for kids is simply amazing! Lots of different activities such walking, cycling, water based activities etc. The cafe has fantastic range of choices and is moderately priced. The parking facilities are excellent too. You can now hire buggies for exploring the lakes.

Fantastic place to while a way a few hours with the children. Beautiful walks and a good sized play park. There are pedal buggies for those with spare energy and a couple of cafes. We'll worth a visit on a nice Sunday.

Lovely place for a dog walk. Take the longer walk. Lots going on for families - paddle board, pedalo, kayak, zip wire, climbing wall. Lovely cafe by the boats and another by the parking.
