Bellshill Martial Arts Academy started as Bellshill Taekwon-Do more than 25 years ago. Over the years, it has grown into a full-time martial arts academy located in its own facility. They offer traditional ITF Taekwon-Do classes and Korean kickboxing. They have classes for children as young as four and for adults. There's also a personal fitness trainer in the gym who you can book for an early morning one-on-one workout. The academy has a team of dedicated, hardworking, and determined instructors, assistants, and leaders, many of whom have over 20 years of experience in martial arts. They teach a dynamic and powerful kicking style.

2025 Update: Bellshill Martial Arts Academy provides Classes from 5 year old up to Adults. They have a full-time gym that is fully equipped, allowing them to offer the best martial arts training in the area.

Cobra Martial Arts Scotland is a family-run martial arts school that has been helping their students by offering effective training classes for over ten years. Master Jamie McLelland is the president of Cobra Martial Arts Scotland. He competes in Kickboxing, is the current WRSA World Amateur champion at 67kg, and WRSA 65kg World Champion, and holds the Golden Belt, British, European, and Commonwealth belts. The BBUF European title in boxing. He has held several Scottish and British titles across multiple associations. Jamie has been practising martial arts since the age of seven. He currently competes in Kickboxing and holds the titles of WRSA World Amateur champion at 67kg and WRSA 65kg World Champion, as well as the Golden Belt, British, European, and Commonwealth belts. Cobra Martial Arts instructors, one of whom is a current two-time World Amateur Champion, have many years of experience in various martial arts. The school's classes involve activities based on building fitness and stamina, and learning a martial art. The Cobra Martial Arts Organisation licenses all of their students. Cobra Martial Arts Scotland offers professional training for all ages and abilities. They have a boxing ring, permanently hanging punching bags, and a fully matted hall.
