SALFORD MIXED MARTIAL ARTS REVIEWS

As a woman, when I first came here about 9 months ago, I was nervous entering into the self defence/MMA world. But the coaches were all so understanding and supportive. I have so many different training partners and they each teach me something new every time. As a severe introvert, over this time I learned new physical skills as well as social skills. In this time I’ve grown as an individual in so many ways and I’ve also done 2 interclubs, coming to my third next week. My intentions when I came here weren’t oriented toward competing or anything of the sort but I find that’s where I’m headed because of the quality of the training I receive here. Coach Darren and Coach Rick are the main coaches and are truly brilliant. Salford MMA isn’t just a gym, it’s a community, I might even go so far as to say it’s a family, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to explore their curiosity in the field. They offer BJJ, no-gi grappling, wrestling, kickboxing, Muay Thai and more, but these are my personal favourites. Also, they have loads of bags, a cage, a ring, large matted areas, a big gym equipped area, a decent changing room for women and just awesome people. I love this place.

Great place with great people around and experienced coaching stuff. Everyone can find something for himself there. Amazing place to start adventure with martial arts. Highly recommend.

Really welcoming place with great coaches who who push your physical abilities further then you knew you could go. I would Highly recommend.

I’ve been training in Kuk Sool Won for 5 years and it has helped me improve my fitness, build my confidence and become the best version of myself. Kuk Sool enables me to continually push myself out of my comfort zone, whether that’s competing in a national competition or performing in a public demo for thousands of people. I highly recommend this incredible martial art to anyone looking for a fun and unique way to challenge themselves.

I have attended many demonstrations of Kuk Sool Won. I have witnessed how much fun the students have during these performances. The skill and patience of the instructors is second to none. If you are looking to improve your confidence, discipline, fitness and self belief, then I would recommend Kuk Sool Won Salford to you.

As an experienced martial artist, I am glad to have found ksw Salford. Sean instructs all in a friendly and inclusive manner, and kuk Sool has a set curriculum, meaning we all know where we are in terms of progressing to the next belt. The sheer breadth of the teaching material means that I am never bored.

Brilliant group for both my children aged 11 and 4! They both look forward to it every week and learn new skills each lesson! My eldest has adhd and this really helps support with that! They’ve made friends and are learning more than the skills of Nunchaku but skills such as listening, concentration and respect! Such a great sport for them!

Since I began back in November I have been encouraged to be my best. Sensei Smith is dedicated to the mental and physical development of his students. I love the whole experience as does my daughter and we would encouraged anyone looking for a professionally run martial arts class to come along and join.

Absolutely fantastic! My daughter really enjoys the class. She’s made some friends too which is wonderful. It’s helped teach her to be patient, to listen and also follow instructions. Skills for life! Thank you Sensei.
