I have been going to Dee for several years but thought I’d live Alan a try now there is a new room for him and more availability, I booked in for a tension release massage for 30 minutes as a first go with Alan. It was excellent. I didn’t know how I’d feel at first changing from Dee who I am very comfortable with, but he was friendly, professional and explained what he was doing really well. The pressure he gave with his hands alone was great (I can withstand a lot of pressure) and I was not disappointed. I’ve booked in for a much longer session next time and must say both Alan and Dee are very knowledgeable at what they do and give an excellent service. So much so, I call them “the body fixers”. I have no hesitation using Alan after an excellent first go. Ps the new facilities are excellent.

I had the most wonderful treatment with Dee. I was made to feel comfortable and relaxed straight away, with Dee’s friendly approach and their studio is so tranquil. Dee is extremely passionate about her work, and very professional too. She talked me through everything and explained why she did what she did. I can’t wait to book my next treatment! I have already recommended to so many family/friends.

Visited Essential Calm for the first time today and I will definitely be returning. I was made to feel very welcome and relaxed immediately by both Dee and Alan, I then had a 90 minute full body massage with Alan. The treatment was by far one of the best I have ever had, I left feeling relaxed, calm and re-energized. Lovely space and fantastic service.

Great massage! I booked Wan Sabai classic massage and Nat treated me so well that she tailored massage to suit my needs on the day. It was such a good experience, I needed deep tissue massage and wanted to feel relaxed at the same time and Nat delivered. It’s like shredding a big weight off and I felt very relaxed after. Thank you! Definitely will be back again!

I had to immediately check the time when my massage was over because I could not believe it was only 30 minutes. I didn’t know you could have that comprehensive of a massage experience in that amount of time. I cannot recommend Nattha enough. The best use of £35 for self care ever. I can’t wait to go back.

Would definitely recommend. I felt so at ease and the massage was wonderful - relaxing but also going a bit harder at times to help relax some of the tension in my muscles. The setting is really lovely too and I just about managed to find parking outside.

Best £65 spent on a service! I’ve had the full body pregnancy massage and Ann was so professional with a calming technique and relaxing music. She even gave me some extra minutes of massage because I arrived early! And when she was done I thought oh that was fast! Then looked at my phone and it was almost 1.5 hours! Felt so good and so relaxed after we finished. I highly recommend Ann for any pregnant woman as she has years and years of experience. I would definitely.come back in the future, pregnant or not!

Fantastic experience having a combined Indian head massage and reflexology treatment at Guru Holistics. Corrina created a lovely atmosphere for me to unwind. Everything cosy and warm, comfortable and all the little details considered to make it a real treat. So much nicer than a busy high street hair salon with a treatment room shoved at the back. Will definitely be back, lots more treatments on the menu to try!

I have had manual lymphatic drainage massage with Corina after surgery. It is amazing. Corina is so friendly and professional and made me feel at ease and comfortable immediately and is just brilliant at what she does. The massages have helped so much with oedema,discomfort and scars following my surgery and the whole experience is so very relaxing. I highly recommend. Just brilliant.
