I visited the branch yesterday and I can’t express how well I was looked after. The optical assistants were incredibly professional but in a friendly way explaining the costs to me, giving me options. The pre tests were thorough and the eye test was very good too. I will use this branch in future. I have recommended it to friends and family too

Have been going to Vision Express for a few years now for annual eyesight tests and have always found all the staff to be pleasant, polite, helpful and good at their jobs. I would thoroughly recommend them if you're after a decent eye check up.

We were very pleased with the experience we had when we visited Vision Express in Durham city. We were very impressed by the professionalism and courteous behaviour of all the staff but particularly those characteristics shown by Morven, the optician. We would highly recommend this service.

Comfortable and pleasant waiting area. First class friendly and professional service. The visit gave me a lot of confidence since I have hardly left my home following the covid lockdown due to personal anxiety issues. I could not have been treated better. Thank you. I have edited this post to take account of a second visit to Specsavers Durham. The first visit identified a need for a post cataract procedure. The optician started this process and it has now taken place. Hence this second visit which led to the purchase of new glasses. I could not have been treated better. In terms of service and value, I am totally satisfied and I would recommend this branch to anyone

My experience was a very positive one, customer service was excellent, especially from Jaz the Optician, All my needs were met and everything was explained step by step and not once could I fault Specsavers Durham, well done guys great experience.

Extremely good. The attention I received was excellent. I felt very comfortable.Prices are very competitive. Waiting time for my glasses was very reasonable, about 8 days. Happy with the service.

Karen is the most passionate and knowledgeable optician I have ever met and always takes the time to explain any vision changes and options very carefully and I am very happy with my contact lenses and glasses care. There is always a good range of frames to choose from at a range of prices for adults and children and the staff in the reception are always so helpful and friendly. Highly recommend Walkers Opticians.
