Mike and his team were excellent from start to finish with ordering our new bed. I wanted more storage space and was looking at an ottoman style bed. We also wanted a non standard mustard colour as it would offset against the blue bedroom furniture we are having installed shortly. Mike demonstrated the bed for us and recommended a few styles. The quality and finish is exceptional, the sturdiness is fantastic and I have no concerns about wear and tear from lifting the hinges, it’s that well built it will out last us. They delivered the new bed, built it on site, dismantled and disposed of our old one. Mike even hoovered afterwards! I wholeheartedly recommend beds by design.

Five star customer service from start to finish. I called ahead of visiting the shop as I had specific concerns around a new bed fitting into our cottage. Mike was very reassuring and sent me several photos and pieces of information for me to consider. The buying process was easy and reassuring. On the day of delivery, Mike turned up at the time stated and despite the challenges my property offers (!) delivered and put together the bed with no fuss. He then followed up a few days later to check whether we were happy with our purchase. The bed and headboard we purchased are of a very high quality and my daughter loves her new bed. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Mike to anyone looking for a new bed. It’s also lovely to be able to support a local business.

Ordered a bed and mattress from Mike at Beds by Design he came and put my bed together. He is lovely very helpful and always kept me informed about my order , nothing was too much for him. I would definately recommend Mike if your looking for great service and great quality products.thanks Mike.

Went on a recommendation and wasn't disappointed, from entering the owner took time and told us the benefits of the mattress. Never felt rushed and selected the ones we liked. A big bonus was free delivery plus take away the old beds without charge a brilliant service I can highly recommend.

We went to the showroom and were amazed at the choice we had. The owner was very patient with us and explained the pros and cons of each type of bed and mattress. We ordered a bed and delivery was arranged to suit us. The 2 men that delivered were very good and assembled the bed very quickly. They took away our old bed and mattress. Would definitely recommend.

I visited a couple of times before making my decision and the guys there were so helpful. Not an oppressive sales pitch, but there when you need them. They certainly know their products! Delivery and build were spot on. Can’t fault them and I’d absolutely use them again.

This was the best experience! I started a month-long stay at a nice Airbnb but could not sleep on the mattress there. I came to BFO in desperation. Wayne was very helpful, and let me spend lots of time testing two mattresses. No sales pressure whatsoever. The price was amazingly low (half of what I’d expected to pay) so I bought two feather pillows as well. They were delivered within hours and I just had an 8.25 hour sleep! Thanks so much to a great little company.

Great bed, great service, friendly helpful staff. We bought a king size divan bed which in 2 pieces wouldn't go up our stairs. It was taken away, modified into 4 pieces and brought back to us. The delivery guys were great, took our old bed away and fully fitted the new bed up 2 flights of stairs which is amazing and was a great price, not slept so well in ages! Highly recommend

This is the second time we have visited and purchased a bed. The staff are really helpful and willing to explain the different types of mattresses. The delivery on the first bed was on time and the delivery men put the bed together. I know the second delivery will be as efficient as the first one. Can't recommend enough.
