International Music School Cardiff offers enriching music education for children ages 5 to 18, regardless of ability. They focus on nurturing talent with regular student showcases each term. 2025 Update: International Music School Cardiff offers instrumental lessons in all instruments, music theory, musicianship, and ensemble classes. Immanuel Voigt is an award-winning concert pianist and was awarded a scholarship in 2013 for two years of postgraduate studies at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, which he completed with a Master of Arts degree in piano performance in 2015. Daphne Voigt is the Music Coordinator and co-founder of International Music School Cardiff, is a dedicated educator specialising in young children’s music development.

Cardiff Drums provides personalised drum lessons for all ages and abilities. All aspects of the drum kit are covered. If you are new to the Drums, they can cover all of the basics and get to know the instrument. For those who are more experienced, you can develop your existing skills by fine-tuning your technique and introducing many new styles of music and culture to take your skills to the next level. Ian Poole is the driving force behind Cardiff Drums. Ian Poole has made a number of appearances on HTV and BBC Wales during assorted concerts and demonstrations.

2025 Update: Ian Poole’s private teaching practice has been running for over 15 years. His professional teaching experience is founded on 6 years of participation in the Drumsense programme, which forms the basis for his lessons and study courses. The programme helps students develop an understanding of different musical styles and connects written notation with the practical experience of playing music. Lessons take place in a fully equipped teaching studio with recording and playback facilities, and a wide range of reference materials are used, including CDs, DVDs, and reading texts.
