3 Best Nursery in Cardiff, UK

This nursery has been so welcoming and warm. Our child has settled in well and has built a lovely relationship with her key worker in a short space of time. The app updates are good, and staff complete regular in-depth developmental notes. I'd like to see an improvement in email updates to parents on things like, bugs going around and sickness policies. The best thing about the nursery is the outdoor space. They seem to go out in all weather which was important to us. I trust this nursery and know my daughter is happy attending, thank you!

My son's only been with Plantos for just over 2 months now and safe to say he is thriving. The staff are so lovely, he's settled in really well. The nursery is clean, has a healthy and balanced lunch menu, and great communication! Excited to continue our journey with Plantos.

My little girl has been attending Darling Buds since she was just over 4 months old. Over the years she has become quite the chatterbox and doesn’t stop talking about all of the fun she has at nursery every day – from a huge variety of arts and crafts, cooking, dancing and building obstacle courses in the garden! She’s made great friends and the whole team are genuinely fabulous – I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

I have two children, the eldest is three, and the youngest is a year old. The eldest is very hard at work and wears a brace for her scoliosis. She started going to Darling Buds when she was one, just after the lockdown, and she has been loving it since then. All the girls have always been smiling, helpful and extremely supportive. I am immensely grateful for their hard work. I can see the progress she has been making throughout the years, and I feel she is extremely lucky to be there. The little one is super happy, she started three months ago, and every morning she wants to put her coat on and go to the nursery. I am impressed by all the stuff and skills they have been learning; it is an excellent learning environment, and it is a true investment for their future. The food is also very healthy and fresh.

Darling buds give a welcoming and engaging environment where our child has been able to explore new things and build upon the subjects he learns at home. It also has allowed him to engage in play with many different people which has encouraged his speaking and playing further. The staff are always welcoming and helpful and greet the children by name every single day.
