I attended Yorkshire College of Music and Drama for 2 years learning violin, music theory, and Singing. I can't recommend enough for people to have lessons here as it has a very inviting and warm community. It has outstanding teaching, supportive staff, and is overall an invaluable place of learning. It very much holds a special place in my heart, and I miss the place very much.

Our son has progressed well with his piano and violin playing since he started lessons here a few years ago. The college has good facilities, great tutors and a small staff team who have been really accommodating for our family's needs. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Tutors and front office staffs. Central location and good parking facilities. Kids are used to this centre, since they attend the lessons as well as being the exam centre. It's takes the nerves off them! Tutors are well experienced and friendly. They cater to the individual students levels. Highly recommend and the fee is nominal too.

Can’t wait to go for my lessons every week with Simon the guitar tutor, it has revitalised me learning the guitar. His lessons are informative and explains any questions clearly I feel I have progressed more in the last year than I have over the last three years. I would highly recommend Leeds music academy to any one interested in learning guitar in Leeds absolute great place thanks for everything so far.

I have been attending the Music Academy for a month now for drum lessons with Joao. I have been playing for 20+ years, and have a number of gaps in my playing technique and basics. Jo is great at inspiring me to work on this stuff as well as moving me to another level of playing and performance. I love going there, great place!

Positive introduction for my 5yo to learning a musical instrument through individualised sessions that are age appropriate and fun- she is loving attending the academy and can’t wait to practice each day!

ROUNDHAY MUSIC REVIEWS

Well done and thank you to our students for playing the recorder at the concert. We are very pleased with how the recorder lessons in school have gone so far this year. Years 5 and 6 have also benefitted from singing lessons by Roundhay Music. Two students represented both classes at the concert and sang 'Three Little Birds' We really enjoyed it and think that everyone should take part in a concert because you get applause from the audience. We had an amazing time. Two other pupils also performed at the concert as they have individual or small group instrumental tuition from Roundhay Music teachers. Please keep it up children and perhaps next year even more children will be able to join the School Orchestra.

We'd like to put on record our admiration of the stirling work you are doing - your personal concern with each pupil and your ability to make each one 'special' is, in my opinion, as commendable as your musical prowess.

You have been a constant source of encouragement and inspiration to me going back to the age of 7 when I used to beg you to play your oboe for me every lesson. I have thoroughly enjoyed all my time with you at Roundhay Music.
