“Armley Dance Studios is led by June Wilkinson, who is the principal of the school. The dance school welcomes novices through to experienced students from the age of three and upwards. The academy's students are entered for IDTA examinations and trained for local competitions and championships. Armley Dance Studios' past pupils have had fantastic success in the performing arts. All ages are represented at the school, from age three to adult students studying to degree level. They have two large studios equipped with quality sound systems, mirrors, ballet barres, and heating. Armley Dance Studios has male and female changing rooms, a large waiting area for parents, free car parking, acrobatic floor mats, a reception enquiry desk, a public dancewear shop, and an accessories shop. Katie helped us with our first dance for our wedding in the woods. We honestly cannot recommend Katie and Dance Studio Leeds highly enough. Katie made us feel really comfortable and choreographed a dance that our guests were really impressed with even with our limited capabilities. Katie was really patient and encouraging and made us feel at ease. Thank you so much, we nailed the first dance and without your help would have just awkwardly swayed.

Ceris was really great helping us out with our wedding first dance. Neither of us had any dance experience, but Ceris was really patient with us and taught us a lovely routine over our three lessons and we even managed to include a lift at the end. She made sure we had video recordings and notes of the routine, which was super helpful with practice. Whilst we were both very nervous about our first dance, we now can't wait to perform it. We really enjoyed ourselves and hope to carry it on after our wedding!.

I took Olivia’ heels beginners course and absolutely loved it. I’ve always struggled with heels but in the course we would go through walking drills and Olivia would give us tips on posture and techniques which was very helpful. The choreography went at a perfect pace and was a lot of fun, and Olivia herself was very professional and encouraging. Will definitely be coming back to take more of her classes. 10/10.

Joined havana salsa for a course and it’s absolutely brilliant! Easy to get to. Great coaches. Easy to learn. Super fun. Very friendly. You can easily rock up alone or with people and it’s not odd at all. You dance with many different people anyway to allow everyone to rotate.

Brilliant venue, brilliant passionate staff. A cultural powerhouse. Have worked with them on several projects in the past decade or so and always loved every minute.

Brilliant dance school. I went when I was younger and my daughter goes now. Fay and June are very lovely, knowledgeable and are always there to help! Super supportive to students and parents. I wouldn’t suggest any other dance school.

Excellent dance school with the pupils best interests, my daughter has danced here for the past three years and loves her teachers and all the friends she has made. The dance school is so much more than just a dance school and more like a family.

I would recommend this dance studio to people my little girl goes there .
