I thoroughly recommend . The equipment is fantastic and Neal is a brilliant teacher. I came to Cool as Funk as a complete beginner. But Neal has developed a really accessible learning programme that develops in a structured way and within weeks has you playing along to tracks. It's a empowering way to learn. Neal provides a lot of original compositions as well which are really fun to play. He's patient but challenges you to follow his precision and attention to detail. Can't recommend it enough.

Cool as Funk fantastic teacher with lots of patience, he has great techniques, gives fab guidance and offers lots of encouragement and motivation for his students. He is always available for any extra help and advice if needed and makes everyone feel comfortable during lessons. The facilities are amazing and I would highly recommend this school for any aspiring drummers.

I went to Neal as a total beginner. His vast experience was apparent straight away. Neal has a patient approach and can easily identify the appropriate pace and direction for his students. He’ll help you move forward giving you stuff he knows you can handle (even if at first you don’t think you can!) with full support and motivation. If you put the work in, you can progress quickly! Couldn’t ask for a better teacher.
