I thoroughly recommend . The equipment is fantastic and Neal is a brilliant teacher. I came to Cool as Funk as a complete beginner. But Neal has developed a really accessible learning programme that develops in a structured way and within weeks has you playing along to tracks. It's a empowering way to learn. Neal provides a lot of original compositions as well which are really fun to play. He's patient but challenges you to follow his precision and attention to detail. Can't recommend it enough.

Cool as Funk fantastic teacher with lots of patience, he has great techniques, gives fab guidance and offers lots of encouragement and motivation for his students. He is always available for any extra help and advice if needed and makes everyone feel comfortable during lessons. The facilities are amazing and I would highly recommend this school for any aspiring drummers.

I went to Neal as a total beginner. His vast experience was apparent straight away. Neal has a patient approach and can easily identify the appropriate pace and direction for his students. He’ll help you move forward giving you stuff he knows you can handle (even if at first you don’t think you can!) with full support and motivation. If you put the work in, you can progress quickly! Couldn’t ask for a better teacher.

Having formerly self-taught I decided to take some lessons from Craig to brush up on the basics, improvement was instant. He is able to teach and communicate in a simple yet constructive way no matter whether it's entry level or advanced stuff. I would even recommend non-percussionists take a few lessons. Your inner metronome will thank you.

Very enjoyable lessons. Likeable guy and extremely good at what he does. Great levels of empathy when something goes wrong and stears you in the right direction to correct your mistake without you feeling embarrassed at the situation..

Craig is an amazing teacher, laid back and very patient. I couldn’t ask for a better teacher. Highly recommend Craig to anyone that’s wanting to learn drums. Always looking forward to my lessons.
