My child has attended a few different nurseries and I can honestly say that I feel so happy with my decision to send my child here. When I have needed extra days, they have tried their best to fit him in. Also, they give the best handover: parents are able to enter the learning environment and have a conversation at pick-up. The staff are so friendly and personable. They know the children well and take the time to speak to parents. The app gives an update on what they have eaten as well as observations and next steps. Today, my little one has come back from a trip to the farm. What an amazing opportunity and I am so grateful to the staff for all the wonderful experiences they have throughout the year, including hatching chicks. Thank you.

Everyone at the nursery is so kind and patient helping my son settle in. They always have great activities planned and a safe outdoor play area. The hours are great too work around my schedule great. Would highly recommend this nursery.

love this nursery, my baby has been going there since he was 9 months old and he’s nearly two now. He still enjoys every day of his nursery time. He loves all the girls. Thank you to all the lovely girls.

My little boy has been comming to Leigh nursery since about 8 months old since the moment we looked at this nursery we knew it was the one for us , my little boy has come on leaps and bounds since being at this nursery and I ever so grateful for the staff supporting my little boy in everything that he needs ! Me and my son absolutely both love it here at it feels like home from home . A massive shout out to Maddox key worker without you we would be lost , thank you for the daily reports monthly updates & pictures as a parent I feel you love to know what your child being doing throughout the day at nursery . Maddox absolutely loves the girls ( Marie Faye Megan Katie & a couple other but am not very good with names ) the bond he has made is so surreal to see , as a parent I think it’s very important to see your child happy and actually wanting to go putting there arms out when they see there teacher . There hasn’t been one occasion when my little boy been upset or not wanting to go into nursery which i absolutely love . The support each nursery practitioner gives your child is unbelievable . I can only give personal feedback on this nursery for your children but I would highly recommend if you’re looking.

My little boy has been coming to Leigh’s now for around 8 months and he has come on leaps and bounds! We immediately knew it was the one for us, the size of the nursery and the quality of the resources. I feel so at ease leaving him there as I know they love having him there as much as he loves to be there. The staff genuinely care about the children and really know them, Marie and Jemma have really been great with him and I’m sure he will be sad to move up to the next room soon, but excited for his next chapter there.

Our daughter has only been at Leigh’s nurseries for a couple of months but when we went to visit, we knew it was the right place for her straight away. She has settled in so well and absolutely loves going to nursery! All the girls are so lovely with her, she loves them. Couldn’t recommend it more.

CHILDSPLAY NURSERY REVIEWS

Where to start- Childsplay has truly been a second home to our little girl, from the age of 9 months right up to her leaving this year to start reception. To say the staff are like a family is an understatement - the love and care they provide the children is like nothing else, I have never felt anything but reassurance leaving our 2 children at nursery. The building is bright, clean, and filled with photos of the children on their adventures. The food is nutritious and carefully thought about, and the activities the children get to do like allotment and forest school visits provide so much learning and excitement. We love you Childsplay, thank you so much for everything.

Childsplay Nursery is second to none! The staff are wonderful and have felt like an extended family to us. Both my children benefited from an extremely nurturing and stimulating environment as well as a range of exciting activities at no extra cost to us (e.g., forest school, allotment, inter-generational project). The quality of the food is outstanding as is the outdoor space. A truly magical place for young children! The nursery management is excellent as is communication with parents.

An excellent nursery that my little boy has just finished. Our little girl is just about to start and I wouldn't consider sending her anywhere else. The staff, the ethos, the adventures, and the development of the children are all fantastic.
