Pittencrieff Park covers 76 acres and provides recreational facilities for children's play, woodland walks, and greenhouses. The park has a glen, café, a conference room, an exhibition space, footpaths, and a wedding venue. Pittencrieff Park hosts many events and festivals throughout the year, including the annual fireworks display and the Bruce Festival, which people of all ages enjoy. The tranquil setting is ideal for various events, from small meetings to corporate events, workshops, and large conferences. Pittencrieff Park has chutes, climbing frames, swings, roundabouts, and safety surfacing. The park also features a former petting zoo, a spacious greenhouse, and three playgrounds, making it an excellent destination for sightseeing with a pleasant atmosphere and beautiful surroundings.

2025 Update: Disabled parking is available in the car park behind the Glen Pavilion. Coach parking is available in the main car park off Pittencrieff Street.

Craigtoun Country Park is a family-friendly park with favourite barbecue areas and spaces for family picnics, all set within the attractive surroundings of mature trees, shrubs, and grass areas. The park has a large Adventure Playground, which Fife Council maintains, and an All-Inclusive Play Area. Craigtoun Country Park has several picnic benches and tables outside the Craigtoun Cafe and beside the Picnic Hut. The park is a hugely famous destination for group summer outings and has been for generations. The Craigtoun Café is open all year round and serves a selection of hot and cold food, drinks, snacks and ice cream. Entry and parking are free of charge, and many measures have been taken to make Craigtoun as inclusive as possible, including the introduction of a Changing Places facility. You can now become a Supporter of the Friends of Craigtoun by signing up via their website for a year’s or a lifetime membership. 2026 Update: Their seasonal attractions, for which tickets are required, will run at weekends and during school holidays from 28th March to 25th October. These include: Rio Grande Miniature Railway, Puffin’ Billy Tractor Rides, Boating, Crazy Golf, Park Golf, Go-karts, Pedal Cars, Bouncy Castl,es and Touch Tennis.
