“Pittencrieff Park covers 76 acres and provides recreational facilities for children's play, woodland walks, and greenhouses. The park has a glen, café, a conference room, an exhibition space, footpaths, and a wedding venue. Pittencrieff Park hosts many events and festivals throughout the year, including the annual fireworks display and the Bruce Festival, which people of all ages enjoy. The tranquil setting is ideal for various events, from small meetings to corporate events, workshops, and large conferences. Pittencrieff Park has chutes, climbing frames, swings, roundabouts, and safety surfacing. The park also features a former petting zoo, a spacious greenhouse, and three playgrounds, making it an excellent destination for sightseeing with a pleasant atmosphere and beautiful surroundings.

“Craigtoun Country Park is a family-friendly park with favourite barbecue areas and spaces for family picnics, all set within the attractive surroundings of mature trees, shrubs, and grass areas. The park has a large Adventure Playground, which Fife Council maintains, and an All-Inclusive Play Area. Craigtoun Country Park has several picnic benches and tables outside the Craigtoun Cafe and beside the Picnic Hut. The park is a hugely famous destination for group summer outings and has been for generations. The Craigtoun Café is open all year round and serves a selection of hot and cold food, drinks, snacks and ice cream. Entry and parking are free of charge, and many measures have been taken to make Craigtoun as inclusive as possible, including the introduction of a Changing Places facility. You can now become a Supporter of the Friends of Craigtoun by signing up via their website for a year’s or a lifetime membership. 2026 Update: Their seasonal attractions, for which tickets are required, will run at weekends and during school holidays from 28th March to 25th October. These include: Rio Grande Miniature Railway, Puffin’ Billy Tractor Rides, Boating, Crazy Golf, Park Golf, Go-karts, Pedal Cars, Bouncy Castl,es and Touch Tennis.”

Great place if you fancy just going for a walk or taking your kid to the park. Iv been going here even since I was a kid myself and although it's changed to me it's still a great place. Especially on hot days, it's perfect for just taking a picnic or whatever and sitting in the beautiful weather in all the grass space there is. There are even peacocks you can visit and squirrels for you to feed nuts too. There is also a small cafe you can go into if you fancy a snack and still see what's going on around you as it's all glass. There are also toilets you can use and it is a really dog friendly place, although they must be kept on leads. There are signs around the park about this. There's just so much more I could say about this place but il just stop here.

Love Pittencrieff Park, Hot House for plants and fish pond. My great- grand-daughter loves visiting the Peacock's, and feeding the squirrels. The playparks are safe and keep the children happy for hours. Lots of places for a picnic or a visit to the Peacock's restaurant is nice. Nice place for dog walkers, but must be on a lead due to Peacock's that often roam around the park.

Very nice place to visit, for people and kids of all ages, There are many trails to choose from and many beautiful spots to rest. It is better to come in the late morning since some of the attractions close early. The whole park is full of cute squirrels and nice birds. Definitely recommend visiting.

BEVERIDGE PARK REVIEWS

Beveridge Park in Kircaldy, Fife, Scotland, is a fantastic, much appreciated little jewel of a sanctuary, tucked away in the centre of the city. There is a wonderful snack van here if you fancy carbing up before your walk or getting your protein afterwards, that sells delicious forms of nourishment. Our puppy absolutely loves it here and so do we.

Beautiful park, with woodland walk at the back. Playing fieds, park for younger and a little older kids. And lots of green space. Also a beautiful duck pond and fountain. There are also tennis courts, rugby fields where local games are played and an enclosed dog training area. Also toilets.

Beautiful park with a lovely pond area with a lot of bird wildlife. Whilst there saw a family of Swans with male, female and seven cygnets all swimming together. Lots of playable fields for rugby, football, play areas for kids and skate park. Gorgeous rose gardens.

CRAIGTOUN COUNTRY PARK REVIEWS

Fantastic day out. The park is enormous and has lots to offer. If you want to go for a walk or jog, walk your dog or have a day out with your kids, it's such a great place to choose. The entry is free as well as some kids attractions like the playground, trampolines, play equipment, zip wire. Seasonal attractions require tickets to be purchased in the ticket office. We went on the Rio Grande train. It was super cool. The fairy glen was also nice. We had lunch in the cafe. The menu was rather small but sufficient and very reasonably priced. We'll definitely be back.

Fantastic day out here with the grandchildren, 4 and 6 yrs old. Got the family ticket just cost £33 and they could go on all the rides, golf etc as many times as they wanted. They done the gnome trail and we ran out of time getting back to the shop with their forms and to get their treat for completing. It was closed, but the woman kindly opened up for them to give them their treat! The kids absolutely loved their day out!

Craigtoun country park is a nice park! It's very large and wide. So much facilities for both kids and adults to have fun. Boat ride, train ride, bike ride, and some more. It's a very big park and has so much capacity. I had a good time here. I enjoyed the boat ride most especially. Nice park. Playground: Very large playing ground.
