3 Best Parks in Leeds, UK

Had an absolutely gorgeous walk here on Sunday afternoon with some friends. What an absolute gem hidden so close to Leeds. The scenery was lovely, a perfect mixture of woodlands, expansive green fields and stunning water features (lakes and streams alike - although I personally had a preference for the stream - the calming sounds of the running water engulfed by beautiful woodland really created a magical atmosphere. I would definitely return to this location and if you are in the area I highly recommend here for a gorgeous stroll! Dog-friendliness: VERY dog friendly, almost every family we saw had a dog with them!

Lovely place! Good variety of open grass , wooded areas and cultivated areas. Nice cafe with loos etc if required, Nana and I loved it . The last photo is Roundhay Park. This is absolutely vast if you really want to roam. Both super dog friendly. Both lovely lakes. Dog-friendliness: All off lead no problem.

Absolutely favorite place to come with my boys to run and walk around beautiful grounds. We love coming back to see swans. Boys love catching little toads and getting a few yummy treats at the cafe.

This is the perfect park if you want to do a bit of exercise or get a few steps in as it has a lovely walking track and also a woodland pathway. It also has a tennis court that has recently been updated, an outdoor gym. It has the usual play areas for the kids, a bird house and a wonderful flower garden where you can sit and watch the world go by. My personal favourite is the lovely family friendly cafe which has a large outdoor seating area.

Lovely park to visit with the dog, plenty of open space for him to burn off energy. Lovely little bird sanctuary in there too which was a nice surprise. As we walked around I was amazed at the variety of different trees and shrubs, which I imagine in the summer will look amazing as they fill the park awash with radiant colours. There is a little stream running through the park too which is very picturesque. Park also has a good size play area, also bowling greens and tennis courts. The cafe we visited was ok and served a variety of food. A decent size car park is available too.

It's a lovely park with a facilities for everyone. Playground for small kids and those a bit bigger, outdoor gym, tennis courts, boules grounds, skatepark, even a birds corner where you can watch and listen to all sorts of singing birds... you name it! Great place to hang around with your family or friends, get active and enjoy the weather. With a cafe just next to the tennis grounds (and a well maintained toilet inside) it's just ???? I very definitely recommend it. Oh, and you definitely should go for a walk in their gardens too
