2025 Update: Springhead Park is an open green space park that contains a variety of facilities, including sports pitches, playgrounds and gardens for visitors to enjoy. Springhead Park was initially named Rothwell Park. The park was built between 1935 and 1937. Springhead Park spans 22 hectares. The park's eastern part was created with money awarded by the Yorkshire Miners Union and was established in 1937. Now the park is used for business purposes, and the park has a lot of mature trees, ornamental gardens and commemorative gates were added at the commencement. Springhead Park is operated by Leeds City Council.
