ROYAL ARMOURIES MUSEUM REVIEWS
The museum was good, a few exhibits missing from the last time I went (20+ years ago). There was much less about how the items were made this time, but an abundance of arms and armour etc. The only downside was the cafe, very basic food nowhere near good enough for the prices charged. The gift shop was well stocked and well worth a visit. It's also worth going to see any shows that are on. All in all a good day.
It's one of the greatest museum with a great collection of arms and armours of all times where I was lucky to have been! Most of the artifacts are in a good state, and you can trace the development of arms, armours, and guns too. In addition, this museum has a great collection from all over the world, and not only England. And it's free to visit, so I recommend!
Absolutely amazing place to visit, so many artifacts and information to take on board. There was a little presentation on whilst we were there (Yankee Doodle story) and it was awesome! Great for all ages, and interest levels. Would recommend if you're in the area.

TROPICAL WORLD REVIEWS
Very reasonably priced . Plenty to see walk around with butterflies and big moths flying around you. Wind your way through the different categories, doesn't take that long to go round about an hour or so. Very hot and clammy so nice to come out into cool air. Many animals, fish, and insects to see. There's 2 places to get refreshments and the gardens outside are lovely to walk around as well.
Lovely place, lots or cute animals, most of them are tiny. Beware tho it is ridiculously hot inside, it felt like I was in an amazonian jungle or something similar to that. If you can't stand such a hot & damp place due to medical conditions I would really consider if it is worth a visit.
Had a lovely day. Nice cafe with good food selection. Nice garden outside. Lovely species of plants and animals. Available parking opposite the location free of charge.

TEMPLE NEWSAM REVIEWS
A great place for children & big kids!! A wonderful nature trail, a beautiful lake, and a garden lover’s paradise. A stunning walled garden with a breathtaking glass house. The geraniums & rare breeds of flowers growing inside simply take your breath away. A small clean farm and playground to keep the children busy. A lovely tea room with delicious home made food. The house must be seen from inside. My grandson loved to explore the grand staircase and the dressing up play rooms. My favourite floor was the first floor grand master bedroom with its rich decor and drapings. Something for everyone to enjoy. A must visit. An absolute great value for money.
A really great day out. There's something for everyone, a quirky great house, huuuge parkland, formal gardens, a farm(with animals), small amphitheatre, play areas, a really good cafe and some very friendly knowledgeable staff. All this at a reasonable cost a stones throw from Leeds. GREAT.
Wonderful day at temple newsam despite the miserable weather. Kids aged 6 & 10, mum and nana. House is great, plenty to see and great activities for the kids on the way round and a craft room. Farm and playground lovely and well kept. Definitely worth a visit. We visited using Historic House membership and will definitely return. Beautiful area and well maintained. Cafe expensive but parking free.
