A fantastic spot for families with young children. The play items are diverse, catering to a range of ages and abilities, and kept in excellent condition. The park is spacious, with plenty of open areas for running around and burning off energy. The surrounding scenery is beautiful, with trees and greenery providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Additionally, the park is well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and attentive, making for an overall enjoyable experience for all.

Albert Park is a great public park in the middle of Middlesbrough City. There are some historical monuments which form part of the park complex. There is a great big duck pond towards the Southern side of the park where a cafe serves hot & cold drinks and snacks etc. It’s a lovely park for a stroll, a walk or a jog. Dogs are allowed in the park but restrictions are in place where the dog must be on a leash and where they can exercise freely. I enjoyed walking in Albert Park.

Very well laid out park with lots of paths, all of which are tarmac. Theres a couple of parks for the children, as well as a pond with some wildlife. They also host a parkrun each Saturday AM at 9am (so the paths are busy then) which is why we go each week. However, runners and walkers alike always respect each other and all goes well.

A walk through Flatt's lane country park is an absolute delight , especially when the weather is on your side. The park features a wonderful play area for kids with an excellent woodland center that's well worth a visit. The routes around the woodlands have trails that are popular with dog walkers and the woodlands centre do put out bowls of water for dogs. Some of the path's can be very steep but there are plenty of level open access routes aswel. Around the park can be found viewing areas for wildlife, bugs and birds.

Came here with my sons for a lovely walk , enjoyed a picnic. It has a visitor centre where you can get snack and hot and cold drinks. Information on what to do while spending time there is available and it's great for kids and families to enjoy the fresh air together.

Fabulous park with lots of interesting corners and carvings. Despite the name it is very much not flat at all. Makes for an interesting walk or run for sure! Good cafe (cake is in the fridge so don't miss it!). Lovely staff and plenty of room inside.
