Barnwell Country Park is one of the well-maintained parks with plenty of opportunities to see all types of birds and other wildlife in Peterborough. The park comprises 37 acres of lakes, riverbanks, and meadows to explore, situated close to the historic market town of Oundle. There is a lovely little café for your tea and cake needs. Barnwell Country Park hosts a visitor centre, kids' adventure playground, walking paths and trails, on-site café, orienteering course, nature trail, fishing, bird-watching hides, and a BBQ and picnic area. There is plenty of bird life around, and people fish here, too. The car park gets busy on nice days, but there is also an overflow car park.
