Lovely green oasis in the city centre.Very well kept and maintained park.Large aviary and animal enclosure in middle of park.Wonderful plants.Children's play area.Plenty of benches and plenty of green space for picnics.Has a lovely cafe in the park not far from the fountain. No public toilets in park but nearby in Guildhall Square.

Beautiful quiet place to sit on a bench and unwind, or walk around. You can often see squirrels around. The park is well kept, clean and in proximity to the city center. It also has an aviary with peacocks and some weird-looking chicken, which I found funny.

Love this place. A complete escape from crazy city life. Large variety of plants, flowers and trees. Enjoy watching the animals too! The cafe has amazing food!! As most local residents live in flats, this park is the garden of your dreams.

A lovely open park. Safe from the road. Dog friendly. Plenty of green open space to exercise your dog & a playpark for children. A miniature railway runs during the summer months. A handy cafe with facilities. Caged hard standing football pitch. Lovely trees and shrubs all year round. Skateboard facility. A lovely park for a picnic. Plenty of benches to take a rest. Outdoor football pitches and clubs for all to join. Safe cycle lanes & good pathways.

Lovely green area.Excellent park/garden in a relatively built up area of Portsmouth.Good plant area/garden area/children's playground area.Sandwiched between two main roads thus wonderful park area.Relatively large park with good paths and greenery.Popular park area with good facilities and respite in the midst of busyness in Portsmouth.

Nice playing Tennis at Milton Park. It has got 5 tennis courts, basketball courts and a large space where children can play and have fun.

ALEXANDRA PARK REVIEWS

Attended a family party at the social club. Great size for the occasion and the place has a small bar. Service was quick and fair prices. Dj was good too. Plenty of parking spaces.

Looking great now sea defences are part finished. Wheelchair accessible, plenty of seating areas. Going to be lovely for walks. Kids take some paper and crayons for one of the viewing areas.

Great football pitches and American football itches when the posts are up, there is also a great little dog walk around the lake and back to the side of the pitches
