I think when one thinks of going to a salon, shall only be considering hospitality, hygiene and treatwell skills, And so i assure you Riva is this kind of a place. Both Katie and Saskia are so kind and generous and are quite keen on their work. Even tho they are the only 2 who works and manages the salon yet it is quite managed, the treat service, hygiene and timings! Saskia is the one responsible for the eyebrow threading, she was always keen on fixing my eyebrow shape perfectly! The owner ( Katie ) is very quite skilled in pedicure and generous when always me being late for the appointment.

I cannot stress enough how wonderful this place is. I've had a few full body massages with Saskia and all have been excellent. The place is very clean, cosy with wonderful luxurious decor and detailing, the staff friendly calm and professional, booking very easy with on line and app booking available. They normally have availability after 5pm which with a full time job is invaluable. Best place in Portsmouth for a massage hands down! Don't hesitate to try it.

Absolutely heavenly for a ladies 60th birthday treat. Four of us well looked after by Saskia and Katie. We each had treatments and they provided a lovely afternoon tea with bubbles at a very reasonable cost. Definitely recommend the salon for cleanliness and professionalism. Friendly too !

I had the most wonderful full body massage from Lily at Studio 8! I had a catastrophe with timing on the morning and they were so accommodating. Lily is kind and considerate, she listened to all I said about my health and areas of my body I wanted avoided. The massage itself was incredible, so luxurious in a comfortable and calming room. The pressure was brilliant and Lily really focused on the areas I asked for. Honestly, I couldn’t recommend this more highly. If you’re looking for somewhere to prioritise your self care Studio 8 is definitely the one!

Just had another wonderful pedicure with Jaime. She’s so thorough, your toes feel like they are on a cloud. My feet are soft, lovely and I’m proud to show them off once again. The Studio 8 salon has a great, friendly atmosphere. The staff manage to strike the right balance between approachable and profession. You feel at ease which is very important to me.

It was my first time coming here and I would definitely recommend! Lovely staff and salon. Lily did my treatment and she made me feel at ease straight away. Very chatty, friendly and professional.

Donna is amazing! She's kind and experienced. Getting waxed by her felt like it only took 5 minutes( Hollywood +underarm) . I would definitely recommend her to anyone. If you are thinking about booking in for a Hollywood but you are nervous because it's your first time, I strongly recommend booking with her, she will make you feel at ease! If you have been getting waxed for years, even better, you will be in good hands! :) Thank you!

Received a very professional and attentive service at The Beauty Retreat with Donna, and a very enjoyable and most importantly relaxing selection of treatments received. Donna was very friendly and thoughtful and always ensured I was comfortable and relaxed. Looking forward to returning in the future for more treatments, highly recommended.
