Central Park is a great place to enjoy a relaxing woodland walk. The park features a walled garden with a cafe, a children's play area, a picnic area, football and cricket pitches with pavilions, bowling greens, fitness and running trails, a performance area, and a Boer War memorial. Central Park started as the grounds of Moors Hey House, which later became Liscard Hall. Some excellent, shaded areas are for sitting, walking, biking, and exploring. Benches are spaced throughout the park, and there is even a fairly large playground area for small children. Visitors can also ride bikes and walk dogs here. Central Park has many sporting facilities, including a 12-piece fitness trail and a 1km woodland trail.

Ashton Park is an attractive Victorian and Edwardian park situated in the Wirral. The park is separated into upper and lower sections. Facilities at the park include a lake, playground, café with toilets in the lower park, tennis courts, a football pitch and a basketball court in the upper park. The entrances from the Wirral Way and neighbouring streets include accessible routes for people with disabilities. Ashton Park features attractive stone gateposts and decorative metal gates. There is a large children’s playground for all ages, a football field, two bowling greens, a multi-use games area and a junior orienteering course. Ashton Park is perfect for a walk, relaxing, and enjoying the beautiful scenery. The play area is always open and free to enter.
