3 Best Parks in Wirral, UK

Superb place! Lovely, well kept grounds. Fantastic for dog walking! Beautiful small lake with ducks and swans (remember to feed them seeds rather than bread, as Brea is bad for them!) The cafe is nice and reasonably priced, whilst the walled hard is lovely and tranquil. Lots of fantastic picnic spots around. Also a bowling green, football pitch, basketball court and pieces of gym equipment around the park. Great for jogging and working out.

Great park and well kept. The play park had something for all ages, the gardens were nice to walk round with little areas for children, the cafe and toilets were clean and tidy and within the cafe you can buy food for the ducks to go and feed them at the big lake. There were also some statues and what looked like an exercise bit and basketball/football court (we didn't go that side to see).

Nice little park. Has a kids park, cafe and gardens with toilet, duck pond with fence around it, another big duck pond. Some playing fields, basketball court and to walk the whole thing it's about a mile or so. Good for dog walking too.

Visited yesterday while in West Kirby. A nice 'out of the way' Park that is a nice distraction from everyday hustle bustle that is going on around it. Nice wide paths and woodland when you enter from the Westbourne Road entrance. Lovely lake with ducks & geese with benches to sit down and enjoy. There is a large play area with plenty for the kids to play on. There is a arched bridge which crosses you over the Wirral Way and then the park seems to become a bit neglected and unkept. There are tennis courts to the left and an expanse of park area with trees. The flower beds need refreshing and then it would look fabulous. A second bowling green is an added little treat. Plenty of wildlife when you cross through to the little woodland area. Birds and squirrels in abundance. A nice enough park but jyst feels a bit unloved. Still worth a visit if you are round and about that side of the Wirral

Haven't been here for a few years, we went to specifically see the squirrels, we did feed the waterfowl we only feed with mixed grains and seeds, there is the shop that is attached to the bowling green that still sells bird food on small bags which is popular, there were a lot of different birds, Canada geese, coots, moorhens, mallards, pigeons, ducks and about four species of seagulls, lovely hour or so.

Such a nice place to take children. The lake has lots of different ducks and birds and is nice to walk around. The park itself has various equipment and a large area if children want to play football. Dogs are not allowed in the actual park area but we were able to sit on a bench and still supervise our grandchildren.
