Chris’s stamina has improved, he is fitter than he has ever been, walking taller, in less pain and with less dependence on his wheelchair. Yes it is expensive and I wish it was funded by the NHS, but I truly believe Luke has extended Chris's life expectancy, improved his quality of life, respected his wishes, worked in partnership and made him laugh as he strives to get him more mobile and able to enjoy his life! I would recommend Luke to everyone but please don’t steal all his appointments thank you. Kate and Chris.

Luke Girvan is a Senior Physio at the Back and Body clinic in Moulton, we got to know him when I was desperately seeking a physio to help my 50 year old brother Chris who has Cerebral Palsy. After ringing many different companies no one was interested in a client with a long term condition. We had been looking for years! On leaving a message with the reception staff Luke rang me back (amazing response already) and he was interested!!! He was upfront and said he might not be able to help but he was willing to meet Chris and assess him. Chris was very anxious about the appointment and Luke immediately understood and listened to him- he accepted Chris was the expert in his condition and his first hands on appointment left Chris standing straighter and fully stretched. I cannot say thank you enough - Luke is now working on Chris’s overall fitness recommending a fitness instructor at a Specialist gym and advising how he can help Chris in conjunction with seeing Luke for regular physio. Five stars is simply not enough for Harry at St Giles Physio in Northampton. On recommendation I first meet Harry with a 10/10 pain… about 2/3 months ago… I literally couldn't move. I noticed a difference from my first session. I’ve had 6 sessions to date and I feel 100% better. The clinic is so warm and welcoming. Harry was so patient and friendly and diagnosed me within 10 minutes. Harry knew exactly what was wrong and had a treatment plan made out for me by the end of the 1st session. Harry talked me through every treatment helping me understand what and why and most importantly the long term benefits where to what he was doing. In between appointments Harry would email to make sure I was okay and to see how I was getting on. Home exercises were recommended through an app and on my 2nd session Harry talked me through and showed me every exercise, making sure I was doing them properly.

Received treatment for medial meniscus degenerative changes and tennis elbow from Claudiu. I cannot fault the service I received from St Giles Physiotherapy. The tennis elbow has been completely resolved following detailed intensive treatment sessions alongside carefully structured physio exercises to continue with going forward. This has enabled me to restart playing golf. The medial meniscus improvement as a result of intensive treatment and ongoing physio exercise has allowed me to start up jogging again confident that the injury will not return and the muscle strength will continue to improve. Well done to St Giles for their excellent care and treatment.- C W

Started at St Giles with no feeling or movement on my left side. After expert treatment from Cladiu and Harry now have full movement on my left side and am well on my way to walking unaided with out a stick!!!!! The guys really do know what they are doing and are professional, kind a caring!!!!! Would most certainly recommend for all stroke patients who need expert help to get mobile again!!!!!
