BUCKINGHAMSHIRE RAILWAY CENTRE REVIEWS
An absolutely fabulous day out. If you are a true Railway fanatic from a child, like me you will absolutely love this place. It has everything a true day out should have, from a wonderful museum to real steam tenders and rolling stock through the ages. A wonderful cafe serving fabulous food and to top it off you can actually take a ride on the footplate of one of their amazingly refurbished steam engines. What a day!! Check out the pics. An enormous thumbs up to Quainton Train Museum and to all it's hard-working volunteers. Well done guys.
What a fantastic place, it was Emergency Services day and as one would expect they were there. Children were trying on police helmets, riot helmets and everything else, climbing all over a police van and trying out the cell. The ambulance service was there and I just had to try out the heart and oxygen monitor, luckily all was well. I took the grandchildren on the steam train which brought back childhood memories, got dragged onto the miniature steam train which I thoroughly enjoyed. A great day out and would recommend this to all families.
Great steam railway centre, lots of historic trains and carriages, model railways and miniature railway to ride on, special rides and days the volunteers are very welcoming good value, and during the summer holidays kids get in for just a pound.

This is one of those places that is quite unassuming from the outside, but contains room after room filled with historical, cultural, and archaeological wonders, presented elegantly and respectfully, accompanied by clear labels and thoughtful descriptions of each item. The tickets are season passes, very reasonably priced, that let you return whenever you like, which is good, because you'd be hard-pressed to see it all in one visit. In addition to the static exhibits, they list a number of changing features and a schedule of live demonstrations of various crafts and arts displayed in the museum. Very pleasant place to wander around and be immersed un history.
Very interesting, informative and relaxing museum. For a small museum, there is certainly plenty of exhibits to view and learn from. The artefacts are really quite spectacular and nicely laid out. The museum has certainly realised how to cater to both young and old visitors alike without compromise. Some interesting visiting exhibits are often on the itinerary. Fully recommend.
Great place to spend a few hours - brilliant for children too. The kids loved their trip there and the staff were amazing.

TRENCHARD MUSEUM REVIEWS
Exceptional display of the history and legacy of RAF Halton. Well presented and detailed exhibits and welcoming and informative curator and team. My grateful thanks to Francis and I'll now be planning my return visit for a longer stay.
Excellent museum illustrating RAF Halton's historic role delivering vital training in aircraft engineering, dentistry and nursing. Unique 'hands on' displays of aviation, engineering and weapons plus the life of aircraft apprentices through the years.
Lovely display of memorabilia and aircraft. Great display of RAF Halton's history. Well worth the visit. Free entry but please give generously. Especially as they are run by volunteers.
