“Blackburn Rovers Football Club is home to a famous football team. This stadium was opened in 1882 as a multi-sport venue. The Football Club was rapidly developed in the early 20th century, along with the construction of new stands. Blackburn Rovers Football Club has a capacity of 31,367 as an all-seater multi-sports facility. This stadium has also hosted the 1941 Football League War Cup Final Replay, but it primarily serves as the home ground for Blackburn Rovers. Ewood Park home of blackburn rovers. Easy access from the city centre. Bus 1 runs every couple of minutes past the ground. Great club shop and a lot of activities going on around the stadium. There was a chance to meet the rover teddy rover Blackburn mascot and have a quick picture. A fan zone with bars and food outlet Prices very reasonable for a championship club. £20 for a adult ticket and £5 for children under 12 ticket. Staff are friendly and welcoming at Ewood park. Today's match A Lancashire Yorkshire Derby match. Great atmosphere. Plenty of singing. Food and bars in the stadium reasonable price drinks and food. Just be careful when leaving the ground. They shut the main road for 15 minutes at full time.

Great club,even though I'm not a supporter.friendly atmosphere, good football and I'm always glad to see them win. Decent food in and around the ground and local area. Police are ok and friendly, just remember they're doing a job, no different to the players. They are keeping the fans and players safe.fans are great and in good voice no matter what the weather, they are friendly too. Let's keep it that way....

Excellent Football Stadium. Staff and stewards are all friendly. Unfortunately the food is slightly on the pricy side but would recommend for families to visit. It’s very family friendly.

MRS DOWSONS FARM PARK REVIEWS

Great family day out. Lovely experience for my son to be able to meet and feed various animals, including feeding milk to an orphaned lamb. Amazing that the farm takes in other farms orphan lambs and enlists visitors help to feed them, a great win-win. Amazing indoor children's play area. Great outdoor picnic seating area, and the best part of all is the amazing ice cream on offer.

Great afternoon out with a toddler, the setup is really well planned and easy to walk about. The animals are lovely with a great mix of Llamas, goats, bison, cows and Emus. Indoor play area looks great so one for another years time! Staff were lovely and the Dinosaurs were an added bonus! Highly recommend.

Always a fabulous day out with lots of farm animals, the open goat field is a nice addition to the farm. My girls love it here. Big covered eating area and delicious ice cream.

PLANET ICE BLACKBURN REVIEWS

We booked the three day Skate Excellence course for half term and found it to be great value. A half hour ice skating lesson followed by access to the rink for as long as we wanted and a meal day. Every member of staff we came into contact with from reception to the coaches were really friend and helpful. The service was a little slow in the cafe and we'd have liked some healthier options to choose from but otherwise it was OK. Going forward, the pricing for a general session plus skate hire is expensive but it's something we really enjoy doing as a family.

Love coming here to watch Blackburn Hawks ice hockey. The arena is very cold to sit in (I know that sounds obvious, but a lot of rinks aren’t that cold) so make sure to wrap up warm of coming for a game. There is a good selection of hot and cold drinks available, and also alcoholic drinks are available during games.

Fantastic atmosphere leading up to Christmas. Great value for money as we skated from midday up to nearly the end of the early session. Paid £6 the day before for 40 minutes on a temporary outdoor skating rink that was 15m x 10m! Don't complain about the prices here! My daughter loved it we'll definitely be back.
